WHY DOES THIS “CHRISTIAN” ALWAYS FLOCK TO HEAR THE MUSLIM MESSAGE?

by Brigitte de Maubec

Did Obama attend a Protestant church on Sunday because a pro-Palestinian Muslim was invited to speak?

(Sept. 20, 2010) — Yesterday, on Sunday, September 19, 2010, the Obama family attended church for only the third time in a year. They went on foot to the St. John’s Episcopal Church situated across the Lafayette Park.

But what is widely not reported by the White House and the MSM is that on that particular Sunday in that particular church, Dr. Ziad Asali, M.D., a Muslim, founder and president of the American Task Force on Palestine, was the guest speaker. He was there to speak on the subject of “Prospects of the two-state solution in the Middle-East.”

According to the website of the American Task Force on Palestine, it is a “non-profit, non-partisan organization based in Washington, DC.” The organization describes itself as “dedicated to advocating that it is in the American national interest to promote an end to the conflict in the Middle East through a negotiated agreement that provides for two states – Israel and Palestine – living side by side in peace and security.”

Dr. Ziad J. Asali is described as “a long-time activist on Middle East issues” who has testified to both chambers of Congress about Palestinian interests, increased U.S. aid to the Palestinian Authority, and “Israel’s disproportionate use of force” in Gaza.  A retired physician, Asali received his early medical training at the American University of Beirut.  He previously served as President of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) and Chairman of the American Committee on Jerusalem (ACJ), which he also co-founded   He also served as the President of the Arab-American University Graduates (AAUG).

Next Sunday, September 26, 2010, another guest speaker, Dr. Aaron David Miller, a Public Policy Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, is scheduled to speak on the same subject. Dr. Miller was a State Department Analyst and Negotiator from 1978 to 2003. According to the Wilson Center, his expertise lies in US-Middle East relations, Arab-Israeli negotiations, Arab world and Palestinian politics and Israeli politics. He has appeared on major network television as a guest, and his writing has been internationally published. His latest published book is titled The Much Too Promised Land; America’s Elusive Search For Arab-Israeli Peace and was published in 2008.  An excerpt from the book can be found here.

(Dr. Miller is not to be confused with a famous organist with the same name and professional title who ironically has been a church organist and music director at Protestant churches.)

Let’s see if Dr. Miller’s views on the subject will have enough of the same attraction for Obama and his family to return to Church or if the appeal of golf shall once more be irresistible.

Stupid 2
I wonder when a Baptist Minster speaking about Christ and the Cross will interest him. Does this lend credence to his faith or is he just learning about Islam. God bless America ,not a Rev. Wright shout.

Obama’s religion is Islam. I have nothing against any religion what it could be, but not religion that’s built on fear and supports hatred and murdering! It’s already not a religion – it’s a manipulation of a masses – not so far from NAZIs. I think USA should chose wisely who it want to be its president by his deeds and not only because of his skin color! In 21th century world is lead by some agressive people who like only war and don’t seek peace!!!! That’s what you get when you chose someone Muslim! :((

It’s becoming embarrassing to be an episcopalian. No wonder the church is losing membership so fast. why would a moslem be preaching in a church? do they let priests talk in their mosques?

Saturday, September 25, 2010 11:55 PM

WHY else would the obamas go to an episcopal church? they’re NOT episcopalians! not even sure why they got to march up to the rail and take communion since they’re not confirmed! what a joke this is becoming.

The article principally addresses the form which followed the service. Several articles state the Obama’s took communion and were there for an hour. This tells me they went for the service and left before the forum by Dr. Asali assuming they went to the 9:00 service. The news is supposed to be accurate. This article was not “fair and balanced.

Mrs. Rondeau replies: The Post & Email has acknowledged that it appears that the speaker addressed his audience following the church service. The piece was written by an unpaid citizen contributor and was published as an editorial. It is interesting that Obama chose to attend that particular church on that particular Sunday, and the question remains as to why a church hosts political speakers between its services. What is that church’s true role in the community?

Isn’t this political involvement a violation of the church’s 501-C3 status?

I have no problems with anyone being a Muslim.
We all have different beliefs and faiths …Nothing wrong with that!
But, I don’t think our president should be one! Besides we’re still waiting
on proof of his birth certificate … aren’t we???

I find it odd that after almost 4 years of Obamas (campaign first) then 19 mos of such hatred, that people cannot think of one little thing that points to Obamas FAKE ‘religion’- his middle name.

America is turning into a NAZI state, and it is totally SAD that many of my OWN people, the liberal “Jews” are with Obama to make this happen, I hope they are happy- being a big part of Americas rise to National Socialism, Israel hatred, pro-HAMAS.
SICK.

Not true. This story was thoroughly debunked by Glenn Beck on his website The Blaze. Please check it out.
http://www.theblaze.com/blog/2010/09/21/did-obama-finally-attend-church-to-hear-a-muslim-speaker
————–
Mrs. Rondeau replies: The Post & Email’s article of September 20, 2010 was written by a private citizen as an editorial. Since publication, The Post & Email has stated that it appears that the Muslim speaker delivered his address after the service which Obama attended. However, the fact that the mainstream media did not mention that this very pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel speaker would be delivering an address at the church directly afterward is an omission. If Glenn Beck is mentioning it now, it is only because a citizen brought up the matter first yesterday. Beck mentioned nothing about it on his show yesterday.

Could Obama have attended that particular church service to make sure that there would be a “packed house” for Dr. Asali’s address?

From the Chicago Sun Times news blog, the source Blaze cited to debunk this story:

For sixth time since president, Obama attends church in Washington
By Lynn Sweeton September 19, 2010 8:18 AM

WASHINGTON–For the sixth time since becoming president, President Obama attended church in Washington.

The First Family walked through Lafayette Square from the White House–no motorcade, it’s just a block–to St. John’s Episcopal Church. The family left at 8:49 a.m. for the 9 a.m. service. Obama was wearing a suit; First Lady Michelle, Sasha, and Malia in dresses.

(snip)

“The first family left the church by the side door at 10.03am and walked slowly through the park back to the White House.
http://blogs.suntimes.com/sweet/2010/09/for_fifth_time_obama_attends.html
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This article is puzzling.
– “The…family left the church…at 10.03am…”
“By Lynn Sweeton September 19, 2010 8:18 AM”
How did Lynn Sweet and the Chicago Sun Times report this almost two hours before it happened (three hours if report time of 8:18am was Central time, which is an hour behind DC)?
– Time of the Oilbamas’ arrival and departure wasn’t included in the report of their Easter Sunday church visit. http://blogs.suntimes.com/sweet/2010/04/for_fifth_time_obama_attends_c.html
The report of the fourth church visit included only the time that “Pool” departed the White House for the church, not the time that “Pool” or the Oilbamas departed after the service.
– The White House pool report begins at the fifth paragraph, but where does it end? There are no closing quotation marks. How much of this article was written by Sweet and how much was the WH pool report? When was the pool report actually written and by whom?
– Did Sweet report early Sunday morning that the Oilbama’s were to be attending church later that morning? After the agenda for St John’s 10:00am Adult Forum was “leaked” onto the ‘Net, was the pool report portion, which includes the time the “first family” left the church, written and added and the report edited to reflect past-tense by an sloppy editor who neglected to reflect that change to the time of the report’s posting to the Chicago Sun Times news blog?
What kind of Episcopalian Church has Muslims giving the sermon? Must be CINO (Christian in name only) .
I don’t care if it was before OR after, any church that would host as their “guest speaker” a Muslim, knowing full well they worship a false god who advocates “killing the infidels” is definitely not a church following Jesus Christ! How sad — no wonder people are so misguided. So many churches are deceived themselves and preaching a false doctrine!
Mrs. Rondeau replies: Apparently not, since the speaker is a Muslim. They seem to be exempt from laws which apply to the rest of us. They’re special.
And this is sharia law coming forth–they want exempt status from everything that costs money, i.e taxes, interest loans,etc.
They also are exempt from barrys healthcare bill–hence no money out of their pockets, yet they all want the american benefits!
Tuesday, September 21, 2010 12:14 PM
I’m the President of Active Christian Media and I found this story interesting because there was no mention of the guest speaker in the MSM reports, however, I must say that I’m not completely convinced that Obama stayed to hear this speaker. If you go to the church website you can download and listen to the actual sermon given on Sept 19th (I did) and you can also download the program of what the church service was about. There is no indication that Obama and his family stayed after this service to hear the guest speaker who was at 10 AM. Now if they did, that would be an interesting fact to note – however, there is no indication they did from any of the reports I’ve read. (Which as you know are questionable anyway ) :)
——————–
Mrs. Rondeau replies: Yes, it appears that the speaker delivered his address at 10:00 a.m., after the church service. However, questions remain: Why is an Episcopal church sponsoring events which could be viewed as political, and why did the Obamas choose that particular Sunday to attend that particular church? Obama has never indicated any affiliation with the Episcopal church before that we know of.
Stacy Harp, the link to St John’s Forum page is embedded in the “guest speaker,” in the second paragraph of this posted article, in blue text. Here is the agenda for Sunday, Sept 19, 2010, that St Johns sent out in html email format. http://campaign.r20.constantcontact.com/render?llr=d8zaiodab&v=001mgvimUtTidNQ_OjUbYFRRaB_bbj_SzfQurzW01WrJO2oZrpu_iPdRJG7HOqCUtgJWLHzHXtry6bfHeq8-WiSsXHVoE5Z63AHcYMWndTy6qybnxAUor7ID-RyOmrzmwlmI3CR3On1Ljw%3D
That this (or anything else, for that matter) wasn’t reported by the MSM (aka lamestream media in some circles, including those I belong to) has absolutely no bearing on the validity or the value of news reported by citizen journalists. So-called journalists working in the MSM today perform functions more like those of PR agents, marketers or even propagandists. Citizen journalists are the only real journalists and news reporters in America today. (By verifying their cited sources, I’ve discovered some real journalists and reporters online, P&E News being one of them.)
WHY IS AN EPISCOPAL CHURCH allowing political speeches especially on Sunday?????What happened to the ‘separation of Church & State’ the left wing radical democratzi’s are always jawing about??????? The hierarchy for St. James’s Episcopal Church has some serious house cleaning to do in the so-called ‘church of the presidents’. I didn’t realize the Episcopals would allow an imposter to attend their services. They must be failing on gaining parishoners, now I understand why.
On a news talk show some months ago, a woman being interviewed said that she was a friend of Imam Rauf (head of the Park 51 mosque project) and had gotten to know him because her Episcopalian Church in NYC, invited him often to give lectures there. A new ecumenism? Her spin on it was that Imam Rauf is a moderate Muslim of peace. I am sure Muslims put their best foot forward when trying to gain friends of influence and preach on the peaceful texts of the Qur’an, without sharing that those texts have long been abrogated by later texts of an opposite nature. 80% of mosques in America are radical, led by radical Imam’s teaching radical Jihad. Here is an example of a “soft spoken” peaceful Muslim teaching a 2 yr. old.
It’s true that a church could lose its tax-exempt status for sponsoring political activity, which this is.
That said, there is a double standard in the US. Muslims, and any individual or group serving the Muslim agenda, enjoy a de facto exemption from many of the laws and regulations that the rest of us must obey.
Obama is no more a Muslim then he is a Christian, Jew or Buddhist. Hussein would pray to a speed bump if his handlers told him to. He doesn’t care about religion or race he cares about his own vision as the ruler of the world. Hussein will use whatever vehicle necessary to achieve the goals set forth by Soros and company. In the atmosphere of political correctness, being Pro-Muslim and Anti-Christian is very popular and if it helps him get votes he will support it.
He knows that he cannot be the ruler in the New World Order if the United States maintains their world dominance in military power and dictates policies with a robust economy. So he is in the process of destroying both. Islam is a handy target to keep the population ticked off and disorganized.
Obama’s personal feelings, such as they are, are not the issue.
The issue is the extent to which Obama furthers the Muslim agenda.
Christians AND Muslims dress in this manner in that part of the world. Some people that wear turbans are Sikhs, too. Are people claiming that Hawaii is not a part of the United States? John McCain was born in Panama-Hawaii became a State in 1959 or 1960 as I recall.
John McCain was born to citizen parents. His father was in Panama as part of the Navy. The NBC status of McCain is debatable but it is a lot stronger than Øbama because of the CITIZEN PARENTS.
I would assume that as a member of the Navy serving in Panama that McCain sr had a diplomatic status. McCain would not have been considered a citizen of Panama but he would be considered a citizen of the USA.
OTH Øbama sr. was a Kenyan student in Hawaii. He was not an immigrant. He did not have immigrant status. As a Kenyan in 1961 he was a British citizen. As such the British citizenship was conferred upon Øbama jr. This is important because even in Øbama was born in Hawaii he is not NBC. He cannot be NBC because his father was a British citizen.
This is the same situation faced by my cousins who were born in Michigan. Their mother was an Australian citizen. She did not take out US citizenship prior to their birth. It means that none of my first cousins in the USA are NBC because of her status. OTH their children are NBC because my cousins had citizenship status when they in turn had children.
