Might just as well call back to 1819 and be done with it. And NO, this has little to do with Massachusetts people moving into the state. For example, a large number of my extended family and friends moved into the state over the past seven decades, and except for the one or two outliers are all staunch conservatives, while the Pingres, Kings, and Jacksons are all born-and-raised Mainers.
Last night is a reflection almost entirely of those born, raised, and trained on Maine soil over the past 70 years. Texas, Georgia and others are grappling with the same shock and questions of causation. My advice for a good first step? Own it! You raised, trained, educated, and tolerated the whining and petulance of lil’ Johnny and Susie and gave them over to the so-called education system with zero oversight, then doubled down by sending them to one or another Communist Finishing Schools (spelled College) during their most malleable and foundationally influential years.
The stereotypical idiom used to describe this is throwing out the baby with the bathwater. However, that is not nearly sufficient to explain what just happened. So, I offer this more detailed visualization: Yesterday, voters held the baby submerged in funky bath water while squeezing its tiny neck, crushing its trachea, drawing carnal pleasure and dancing maniacally at the sight of the frothy blood spewing from its tiny mouth and nose as it struggles not to die. Then they took that vile stew of mutilated child and putrid water and tossed it into a woodchipper, all because they needed the bathtub for a demonic Bathtub Madonna, replaced by the Star and Crescent embracing the Hammer and Sickle.
So what they chose across the nation was an inbred Commie from northern Maine. They chose a Christian in Texas who hates Christianity, thinks God is non-binary, that transitioning kids is legitimate and having boys and men in women’s changing areas is perfectly acceptable. Last but not least, Michigan elected, by double digits, a man whose religious mandates include subjugating the USA and whose acceptance speech began in Arabic, directed at his narrowly focused Moslem constituency.
Notably, but not shocking, the usual cast of George Bernard Shaw acolytes, living in self-segregated enclaves, broke above 75% for this Red-Yellow/Green-White emergence. Jews, Blacks, Unions, College students, the historically stunted and pain-averse all held true-to-form and cast their lot with the subversives.
Conservatives are not blameless in this. Just as those who shelter illegal aliens and interfere with law enforcement officers are accessories to the crime, slothful so-called conservatives who couldn’t be bothered to leave their potato-chip-littered couch to cast their dutiful vote are equally to blame, showing a paltry 44%.
Think about that; people who claim to be Constitutional Conservatives withheld their vote, letting the weasels into the henhouse. This is tantamount to claiming to be head of household and then refusing to bar the door or to face down an announced rapist who then ravages your wife and daughter – right in front of you.
The only shard of cloud lining is that the next two years will be a story of zero accomplishments and thus minimal damage.
It should now be clear that these trends will not abate, but will accelerate as we move ever farther from our mooring as a nation of sovereign individuals in cooperation to that of a proletariat of kept subjects. I leave you with this quote:
