If Things are so Bad, Why are They so Good?

“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times” – A Tale of Two Cities

(Nov. 2, 2026) — Continuing with the prescient Charles Dickens: “It was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair.” So it goes with America with the 2026 Election a mere spitball away.

On the despair side, the mainstream media has partnered with the new Communist Party which is called the DSA or Democratic Socialists of America. Progressive Democrats are hungry for power at any cost as they prostrate themselves to the emerging DSA, desperate to remain relevant when they will be the first to face the firing squads if these despots achieve the goal of America’s destruction. The Senate will be dissolved, the Supreme Court will be converted to a politburo and the House will select the President, who will become a Stalinist dictator. This is not speculation but their written platform. Your freedom will dissolve as evidenced by the dress rehearsal of Covid. The Middle Class will disappear as the hordes of current and future Illegals demand free stuff from the government, which is never the source of wealth.

These jokesters are dedicated to hoodwinking Americans to think that times are bad and they are impoverished. Nothing could be farther from the truth. The title of this article is attributed to Larry Kudlow. Times have never been so good. Our borders are closed to Illegals, and Law Enforcement is finding and deporting criminals. There have been $11.3 trillion (probably larger) in foreign business commitments to expand our economy. Consumer spending has risen at a nearly 4% annual rate adjusted for inflation over recent months. According to Fox Business: “Real GDP grew at a 3.4% annual rate in the third quarter, with basic core GDP (consumption plus investment adjusted for inflation) running near 5%.” Taxes have been cut for tips, overtime and social security. Billions in fraud have been uncovered. Weekly unemployment claims are at a 60-year low!

The Democratic Party never reports this good news. They only want to divide America into tiny fiefdoms which they can control. Orwell’s “Two Minutes Hate” has been resurrected with a new virulent strain of antisemitism and Trump Derangement Syndrome to divert attention from the fact that they are the source of failure. This is why it is imperative to vote for Conservative candidates who will further lower taxes while also decreasing government spending, which is strangling America.

Election Day is one day away and you can make a difference in most states. California is probably a lost cause, but it is slowly dying the way of the dinosaur. Arizona is teetering by the lies and inaction of Governor Katie Hobbs, Attorney General Kris Mayes and Secretary of State Adrian Fontes. Please vote for Andy Biggs, Warren Peterson and Alexander Kolodin. In other states, don’t vote for the DSA as if your life depended on it. Because it does.

Be a member of the celebratory “spring of hope” rather than the gulag of “the winter of despair”!
