(Jun. 1, 2026) — Before the summer gets into full swing, The Post & Email would like to ask all who are able to support us financially, as even though summer readership declines, our expenses rise during that time.

As most of our readers are aware, we decline virtually all advertising due to the objectionable nature of much promotional material. While we continue to accept “sponsored” posts, payment for these is very, very small and submissions from reputable advertisers few and far between.

For as long as we are able, we will continue to bring you columns from the best writers on the internet as well as articles on our main focus of government corruption.

    Dear FOIA Officer:
    Please treat this correspondence as an updated and supplemental FOIA request to the Office of the Solicitor General concerning records held by, received by, reviewed by, transmitted by, or created within OSG relating to Trump v. Barbara, the pending Supreme Court birthright-citizenship litigation, and the historical and administrative-record materials submitted by Harold William Van Allen and/or the John Jay Judicial Integrity Committee.
    This updated request supplements, clarifies, and preserves my prior OSG FOIA request and related communications, including OSG FOIA No. 2026-128729, without narrowing or withdrawing any earlier request unless expressly stated.
    I request all records, including emails, memoranda, routing slips, internal notes, calendar entries, docketing records, intake logs, litigation-support records, transmittal records, referral records, correspondence, attachments, and metadata, concerning or reflecting any of the following:

    1. Receipt, routing, review, or discussion of materials submitted by Harold William Van Allen, the John Jay Judicial Integrity Committee, the John Jay Natural Born Citizenship Committee, or related John Jay Committee entities concerning Trump v. Barbara, birthright citizenship, Article II natural born Citizen status, the Fourteenth Amendment, “subject to the jurisdiction thereof,” allegiance, domicile, citizenship, and related historical authorities.
    2. Any OSG awareness, consideration, use, non-use, or internal discussion of the “Duely and Constantly Kept” / “Duly and Constantly Kept” historical-record materials, including any DaCK package, administrative supplemental notice, certificate of service, transmittal correspondence, or supporting historical exhibits.
    3. Any OSG records concerning whether materials submitted by Harold William Van Allen or John Jay Committee entities were, should be, or could be transmitted to the Supreme Court, incorporated into an administrative file, referenced in litigation strategy, referred to another DOJ component, or retained as part of OSG’s records concerning Trump v. Barbara.
    4. Any OSG records concerning communications with the Supreme Court, the Clerk’s Office, DOJ components, White House Counsel, Treasury, State, DHS, USCIS, OLC, Civil Division, Civil Rights Division, or any other federal entity relating to historical materials, citizenship analysis, birthright citizenship, “subject to the jurisdiction,” Wong Kim Ark, Dred Scott, Vattel, law of nations sources, Sojourner Truth, New York citizenship history, Native / Indigenous citizenship, or state-citizenship materials relevant to Trump v. Barbara.
    5. Any OSG records concerning the relationship or distinction between Article II natural born Citizen status and Fourteenth Amendment birthright citizenship, including any internal analysis concerning whether the two doctrines should be separated, conflated, avoided, or discussed in Supreme Court briefing or oral argument.
    6. Any OSG records concerning the historical treatment of allegiance, jurisdiction, domicile, territorial jurisdiction, tribal citizenship, state citizenship, and foreign influence in citizenship law, including but not limited to materials relating to Wong Kim Ark, Elk v. Wilkins, Dred Scott, Minor v. Happersett, Inglis v. Sailor’s Snug Harbor, Shanks v. Dupont, Talbot v. Janson, The Venus, and related early federal or New York authorities.
    7. Any OSG records concerning Robert E. Barnes, 1776 Law Center, VivaBarnesLaw, David Freiheit / Viva Frei, Robert L. Schulz, We the People Congress, or any communication, inquiry, appearance, attempted appearance, proposed representation, or public commentary relating to the above-described historical-record effort.
    8. Any records reflecting OSG’s handling, processing, referral, search terms, custodian selection, preservation decisions, or response strategy for OSG FOIA No. 2026-128729 or any related FOIA request, referral, clarification, or supplemental submission.

    For purposes of this request, the term “records” should be interpreted broadly to include all electronic and paper records; emails and attachments; text messages or chat messages if maintained in agency systems; Teams, Slack, or other collaboration-platform messages if used; notes; drafts; metadata; transmittal logs; FOIA processing notes; litigation-support notes; and records maintained in shared drives, document-management systems, email archives, or individual custodian files.
    The relevant time period is January 1, 2025 through the date of the search, unless a different date range is necessary to capture records relating to older historical materials, prior related FOIA requests, or records incorporated into the Trump v. Barbara litigation file.
    Please search all reasonably likely locations and custodians, including OSG attorneys, appellate staff, administrative staff, FOIA personnel, records-management personnel, and any personnel involved in Supreme Court litigation concerning Trump v. Barbara or related citizenship matters.
    I request that responsive records be provided electronically, preferably in PDF format, with any email records including attachments and, where reasonably available, header information and metadata sufficient to show sender, recipient, date, subject, and routing.
    If OSG contends that any portion of this request is unclear, overbroad, or burdensome, please contact me before making an adverse determination so that I may clarify or narrow the request while preserving the core public-interest subject matter.
    I also request that any reasonably segregable non-exempt portions of responsive records be released. If any records are withheld in whole or in part, please provide a Vaughn-style index or equivalent explanation identifying the exemption claimed and the basis for withholding.
    This request concerns matters of substantial public interest: the federal government’s presentation of citizenship history to the Supreme Court, the treatment of historical records submitted by citizens and civic committees, and the administrative paper trail concerning materials relevant to a pending constitutional case. Disclosure will contribute to public understanding of government operations and is not sought for commercial purposes.
    Please confirm receipt of this updated request and assign or associate it with the appropriate FOIA tracking number, including OSG FOIA No. 2026-128729 if applicable.
