(Apr. 12, 2026) — KNOXVILLE, TN — A hearing has been scheduled before Chancellor Heagerty in the Knox County Chancery Court to address critical motions regarding allegations of fraud involving members of the Knox County Law Department, specifically Myers Morton, and the Chancery Court Clerk’s Office.
The motions aim to address procedural irregularities and substantive fraud that impact the integrity of the judicial process in Knox County.
Public Attendance and Transparency The public is invited and encouraged to attend and observe these proceedings. Under the Tennessee Constitution (Article I, § 17) and the Tennessee Open Meetings Act, the judiciary operates with a presumption of openness to ensure accountability, particularly when the conduct of public employees and elected officials is at issue.
