(Nov. 6, 2025) — President Trump is scheduled to make an announcement at 11:00 a.m. Thursday from the Oval Office. Reports do not reveal what it will encompass, not does Trump’s Truth Social timeline contain a suggestion.
RSBN, Fox5 and other outlets will provide live coverage.
At 10:00 a.m. EST, the Senate convened on Day 37 of the government shutdown.
As of 11:13, Trump had not begun his address.
At 12:00 p.m., Kayleigh McEnany of Fox News reported the announcement will deal with lowering the cost of weight-loss drugs.
At 12:04 the announcement began.
Americans will henceforth pay “most favored nation” rates for weight-reducing, or GLP-1, drugs, Trump declared, reading from a prepared statement. Other drugs, too, will be available to the public at greatly-reduced prices and will be covered by Medicare and Medicaid, he said.
Following Trump’s remarks, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. emphasized the importance of Americans making strides toward better health, beginning with lowering high body-mass indices (BMI) to normal levels. He estimated 125 million pounds could be shed by next November’s midterm elections.
Diabetes medications will be included in the most-favored-nation pricing, Kennedy added, and will save taxpayers money.
CMS Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz updated Kennedy’s claim of lost pounds to 135 million.
At 12:36 p.m., one of those standing behind Trump at the Resolute Desk had a medical emergency, and the broadcast was cut.

A lot can be said about body mass index (BMI), but I won’t bore everyone to tears on this website with an endless dissertation. Besides, I am neither educated on nutrition nor on the medical field.
Many factors affect obtaining optimum weight vs. body height and BMI is just a wide-ranging suggestion. I believe that diet drugs of any design may be unnecessary in most situations.
God placed many nutritional foods on this earth. Let’s make the most of them in their original form without artificial additives and ingredients.
Just two months ago, I prepared four pints of elderberry syrup for the first time. I am still taking a teaspoon a day to allegedly assist my 80-year-old immune system. Elderberries are loaded with cyanide, but one must know how to work around that poison.
Manufacturers feet must be held to the fire if they know and intentionally insert many unhealthy artificial additives and ingredients in food products. Why do we need to take petroleum-based drugs to take care of daily nutrition?
Get back to basics, if you can, and prepare your own foods at home and get back to a healthy BMI.
P.S. to Monsanto and farmers. For starters, stop poisoning our farmland soil with glyphosate.
A recommended application to consider for your cellphone while shopping the aisles of grocery stores that may help you make the right decisions on your nutrition. https://yuka.io/en/
