Was your brother physically abusive?
Did your siblings take sides?
Were you ostracized? Never included?
Did you swallow your innermost emotions?
Did you bury your pain and disappointment?
Did you hide your heartbreak behind a wall…
of broken promises and missed appointments?
Do you feel worthless and unworthy?
Do you feel guilt, hopelessness and shame?
Do you feel compelled to harm your children,
to feel empowered and pass the blame?
Before you act out in anger…
Before you injure your innocent children.
Seek professional help to work through
your pain, hurt and confusion.
A pastor, a friend and confidante…
Someone you feel or know you can trust.
Put your faith in your Heavenly Father…
When faced with trials, when times are tough.
Ask the Lord for His forgiveness.
Invite Jesus Christ into your heart.
Don’t allow the lies of the Devil…
To tear you down; drive loved ones apart.
Love and protect your precious children.
Guard God’s holy gifts with all your heart.
Stop listening to lies of a wayward world.
The Devil devours. Christ sets apart.
Get into God’s Word…
Let His truth set you free.
Let peace permeate your heart.
Live in love and tranquility.
