(Oct. 8, 2025) — Shortly after 3:00 p.m. EDT, President Trump will be holding a roundtable discussion on the activist group known as “Antifa,” which adopted its name to signify it stands against “fascism.”
The group claims to oppose racism, authoritarianism and capitalism.

On September 22, Trump signed an executive order labeling Antifa a “domestic terrorist organization.” Section 1 of the order reads:
Antifa is a militarist, anarchist enterprise that explicitly calls for the overthrow of the United States Government, law enforcement authorities, and our system of law. It uses illegal means to organize and execute a campaign of violence and terrorism nationwide to accomplish these goals. This campaign involves coordinated efforts to obstruct enforcement of Federal laws through armed standoffs with law enforcement, organized riots, violent assaults on Immigration and Customs Enforcement and other law enforcement officers, and routine doxing of and other threats against political figures and activists. Antifa recruits, trains, and radicalizes young Americans to engage in this violence and suppression of political activity, then employs elaborate means and mechanisms to shield the identities of its operatives, conceal its funding sources and operations in an effort to frustrate law enforcement, and recruit additional members. Individuals associated with and acting on behalf of Antifa further coordinate with other organizations and entities for the purpose of spreading, fomenting, and advancing political violence and suppressing lawful political speech. This organized effort designed to achieve policy objectives by coercion and intimidation is domestic terrorism.
Several Antifa members have been charged and convicted of violent crimes, including murder.
“You should see what we have on these people,” Trump said at 3:35 p.m. after convening the meeting. The group’s “signs,” he said, are “all the same color” and emanate from the same source.
A guest at the roundtable is independent journalist Andy Ngo, who Trump noted had been “beaten repeatedly” by Antifa members in the Pacific Northwest, resulting in a “brain hemorrhage.”
A female journalist in attendance, Katie Daviscourt, was left with a black eye, Trump said and the camera demonstrated.
Also present was independent journalist Nick Sortor, who was arrested in Portland, OR October 2 outside an ICE detention center for “disorderly conduct.” The charge was later dropped.
U.S. Attorney General vowed to disband the organization, which she said does not practice “activism,” but rather, “anarchy.”

ANTIFA is a radical, violent Communist/Marxist organization founded/active in the 1930s in Germany aimed at disrupting the republican form of governance being attempted in Germany, to collapse it and then bring on a Soviet style Communist government up from the ashes.
It engaged in violent street battles and disrupted organization’s meetings advocating against Communism. In particular, they targeted the emerging National Socialism Workers Party movement (NAZI’s), who were indeed Fascists in the classic and proper definition of that political type term. Hitler in fighting back violence in the streets with violence, ultimately organized the “Brown Shirt” organization to actively battle the Antifa Communists in the streets and at their political gatherings. So the origins of Antifa were indeed “anti-Fascist”, but what they don’t tell you is what they are for, i.e., dictatorial Communism, Soviet Union type.
Today Antifa labels anyone or any thing that opposes their Communist/Marist takeover ultimate goals as a Fascist. And they never tell the world what they are still for, i.e., a Communist takeover of the USA. The anarchist part of their actions is to tear down and collapse the existing form of government, our Constitutional Republic. And then from the ashes they would try to take over with a Stalinist, radical Communist form of government.
The Antifa are the street fighters, militia of the Communist/Marxist/DSA movement in the USA. The elite Communist/Marxist/DSA type leaders of things in our government, the controlling people in the Dem Party, and the mainstream media, stay out of direct involvement in the violence in the streets, but they behind the scenes encourage what is going on and provide money laundered finances to the street thug groups. The elite Marxist/Communists operate on the Saul Alinsky taught, “the ends justify the means”, but control things from behind the curtains in a classic “community organizer” m.o. Obama is a grandmaster at that tactic and strategy.
The people in the media should stop playing Antifa’s game of focusing their narrative on what the Antifa street thugs state/allege they are against. And instead, the media should ask the Antifa people what they are for! Many being the useful idiot type will either not answer what they are for, or they just don’t know really what they are for, and just enjoy the violence. Those useful idiot types are just street thug violence loving types. Others who are more in the know long-term, will answer that they want to see a Communist/Marxist takeover of the USA.
