To the editor:

A unity we never saw during the Biden administration swept across our TV screens during the memorial service for Charlie Kirk.
Speaker after speaker proclaimed their Christian faith unabashedly. I had the sense that Christians—prosecuted, shamed, and stifled under Biden-Harris—felt free at last to gather, rejoice, and worship their God.
Speech after speech exalted Christ. No one promoted their denomination. No one pledged allegiance to their religion. No one advertised their church. The one unifying them all was Jesus. It reminded me of the Billy Graham crusades.
President Biden and Kamala Harris tried to tap into this faith. Both described themselves as devout. Both declared allegiance to the Catholic Church. Both presented as Christian, although not in the way we saw in this memorial service.
And this was the difference. Speakers at the memorial service admitted their shortcomings and upheld the perfection of Christ. To the contrary, Biden and Harris defy their faith and their church, champions of abortion and aberrant sex, demanding these become laws of the land.
The devout may defy their government, but not their God.
We witnessed the devout at Charlie Kirk’s memorial. We saw devotion to God above government. This was the breeze of freedom that swept away the oppression of the previous presidency.
Sincerely,
Dennis Gladden

Dennis, I just read your post to Monita and we both agree wholeheartedly with everything you stated. Those are the exact feelings we felt about the previous administration. She and I both agreed that the outpouring of the Love for Jesus (In Our Faith) would not have been shown anywhere near the level we all just witnessed. The True Love for Christ expressed by all concerned has to be exalted by all.
Refreshing for sure!! Praying this continues!!!
