Spread the love

(Sep. 14, 2025) — My fellow Americans, we gather at a moment of sorrow. A good man has been taken from us. Charlie Kirk is gone. But though his life has ended, his cause has only begun.

Charlie Kirk was not the caricature his enemies painted. He was not a fascist, not a divider, not a man of hate. He was the opposite. He stood for faith. He stood for freedom. He stood for America.

He welcomed debate. He invited disagreement. He turned division into dialogue and opposition into common ground. That is why he was feared. That is why he was killed.

He was killed because he spoke of God.

He was killed because he defended life.

He was killed because he told the truth about family, about freedom, about America.

Those who feared him thought they could end him. But they were wrong. They have not silenced him. They have made his voice eternal.

And what followed his death revealed much about the times in which we live. When dignity demanded silence, many mocked. When respect demanded reverence, many jeered.

Rep. Ilhan Omar mocked him still, saying, “These people are full of s—.”

Matthew Dowd of MSNBC sneered, “He’s been one of the most divisive… constantly pushing hate speech.”

When Speaker Mike Johnson called for a moment of silence, liberal lawmakers booed.

This is their compassion. This is their charity. This is their respect for human life.

Contrast this with President Trump’s words at the passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg — a woman who opposed him at every turn: “She was an amazing woman who led an amazing life.” That is dignity. That is America.

And so, let us not descend to the level of those who mocked. Let us not repay hatred with hatred. For when conservatives mourn, we do not burn cities. We do not spit on police. We do not riot in the streets. We bow our heads. We pray. We remember.

But we must ask: where does this hatred come from?

For years I have studied this question. Why are liberals so profane in their declarations? Why so quick to call their opponents fascist, racist, evil? Why such rage over politics?

The answer is this: they are a movement without faith. They have no belief in God. They have no compass higher than themselves. Over ninety percent of atheists in America identify as liberals or Democrats. And without faith, there is a hole in the heart — a void, a vacuum.

Where faith should dwell, ideology takes its place. Where God should reign, politics becomes their altar. When conservatives challenge their beliefs, they feel it as blasphemy, as an attack on the only thing they worship: their ideology.

That is why they hate. That is why they mock. That is why, in the wake of Charlie Kirk’s murder, they did not grieve, but sneered.

But conservatives are different. Our foundation is not rage. Our foundation is not ideology. Our foundation is faith. Our foundation is family. Our foundation is America.

And so, let us be clear: the enemies of truth may kill the man, but they cannot kill the mission. They may strike down one leader, but they cannot stop the millions who rise in his place.

Charlie Kirk’s flame has been taken from this world. But his flame has lit a thousand others.

He is gone from us now. But his legacy has just been born.

God bless his family.

God bless his memory.

And God bless the United States of America.

From Joseph DeMaio:
—————————–
“The First Amendment aside, those who are celebrating the assassination of Charlie Kirk, regardless of their political affiliation, status, religion, profession or none of the above, have discarded any remnant of a moral compass that they might have once possessed.

This acknowledges, of course, that they were not already aborted long ago. They now gather among themselves as a malignant, metastasizing tumor of soulless ghouls. As Charlie would challenge those who disagreed with him: prove me wrong.”
