(Jul. 28, 2025) — Evidently not when the “old news” is what some people (including President Trump) are calling the Jeffrey Epstein hoax. The relationship between the two (Trump and Epstein) dates back to their friendship which began in the 1980s, faded around 2004, and ultimately ended with Epstein’s death in jail by either suicide or murder in 2019. Today, many people, particularly Trump supporters, refer to the Epstein matter as being “old news.”
Evidently news is not too old when what some are calling “old news” is the recently developing scandal involving Barack Obama and certain intel officials (almost all CIA) who interfered with and defrauded the American voters in the 2020 presidential election. It resulted in Joe Biden winning the presidency and being an integral part (or maybe not!) of an administration purportedly led by persons unknown and a heretofore relatively obscure but sinister inanimate object, the autopen. This developing scandal, according to most on the political Left, is being called “old news.”
So, these are the “old news” stories which are dominating today’s headlines and conceivably could have a tremendous effect, one way or the other, on our country’s future. Both political parties appear to be loving it (from their obviously different perspectives). So, too, does the national news media (they love it, too!). The Democrats are busy weaponizing the first of the aforementioned news stories, and the Republicans are becoming giddy about the second. I have no clue at this point as to what the ultimate outcome will be for our country. My sense, though, is that because there are so many in government who have skeletons in their own closets, the likelihood is that nothing “earth-shattering” or even resembling equal justice and accountability will come of this. Pardon me for one more opinion, but I find all of this political game- playing and controversy over “old news” just a bit silly. Adolescent tactics? “Third World” shenanigans?
Another form of “Fake News?”
I also have a recurring thought which I would like to share with you. Maybe if I tell everyone about it, it might bring about some badly needed reflection and common sense (on the other hand, though, maybe it won’t!). Here is the idea. If you and I ever get the chance, which, mind you, would have to be bestowed upon us by God, THEN LET’S ASK FORMER PRESIDENT JOHN F. KENNEDY IF THE TRAGIC AND HORRIFIC EVENT WHICH HAPPENED TO HIM IN 1963 IS A NEWS STORY WHICH TODAY IS “TOO OLD” TO REVISIT AND ACTUALLY TRY TO SOLVE. THIS WE ASK OF PRESIDENT KENNEDY WITHOUT REGARD FOR WHOEVER ENDS UP BEING IMPLICATED IN HIS ASSASSINATION (NOTE THAT THE ASSASSINATION WAS A CONSPIRACY AND NOT WHAT THE WARREN COMMISSION SAID WAS THE ACT OF A “LONE GUNMAN,” LEE HARVEY OSWALD).
The JFK assassination now is almost 62 years old and undoubtedly one of the greatest and most despicable crimes ever committed in our country’s history (even in world history). Yet, the assassination in many ways seems to have been forgotten or covered up. I have no apologies when I tell you my strong belief that our own government, the CIA, and other “bad actors” are the conspirators and perpetrators behind this old, but not now and never-too-old, despicable news event. Something about all of this is terribly wrong. I am confident I have a sense of what that is, but for now I will exercise my right to remain silent and hope (against hope) that our representatives in Washington, D.C. will do what needs to be done.
“The TRUTH shall make us free” (adopted by the CIA from a verse in the Bible Book of James and used counterintuitively by the trained-to-be liars at the CIA as one of their favorite mottos). After all, though, is it not true that we in America are an advanced, civilized, and God-fearing people? Maybe, maybe not. The CIA certainly is not an institution by which we can reliably judge our country’s excellence or lack thereof. Shouldn’t those who planned the JFK assassination, carried it out, and covered it up after the fact be identified and, regardless of who they are and whether they are living or dead, be held accountable? Isn’t that the way to have an accurate and honest depiction of history? In other words, to have the TRUTH. Regardless, hopefully without being too presumptuous, I declare that “OLD NEWS” IS NEVER TOO OLD. It, in fact, is our history, from which we can learn, benefit, and advance ahead to make America great again.
The time in history is long overdue (22,000+ days and counting) for the JFK assassination to be re-investigated by unafraid, unbiased experts who should be able to determine once and for all who the assassination’s principals and co-conspirators were and hold them accountable. Give the JFK assassination its proper place in American history. “Old news,” especially of such consequence, is never too old. THE ASSASSINATION OF A SITTING PRESIDENT SHOULD NEVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE FORGOTTEN OR EXCUSED BECAUSE IT IS “TOO OLD.” THE ASSASSINATION OF A PRESIDENT (IN A COUP D’ETAT, OR FOR ANY OTHER NEFARIOUS PURPOSE) IS A COWARDLY EVIL ACT OF TREASON. CONSPIRING TO COVER UP SUCH A CRIME, IN MY OPINION, IS AKIN TO SEDITION. God help us if We the People and our Government don’t get this right.
