(Jun. 22, 2025) — It’s becoming hard to tell if the modern Democratic Party is running a political platform or just broadcasting live therapy sessions. Every time they accuse Republicans of some horrendous act—racism, authoritarianism, grooming, election denial—it starts sounding less like criticism and more like projection. Call it Freudian politics: deep guilt mixed with the exhaustion of being wrong for two decades straight.

Let’s look at the current situation. The Democrats are underwater in the polls, clinging to the smoldering remains of “The Message” (whatever it was), and held together by duct tape, delusion, and the collective rage of people still angry that brunch is ruined forever. Their strategy now? Accuse the other side of exactly what they’ve been doing, but louder and with more hashtags.

Take the “No Kings” protests—a group of aging hippies and freshly-minted gender studies majors protesting checks notes the enforcement of federal immigration law. The irony? These same folks stood silently (or worse, cheered) while their own party played monarch during COVID, decreeing who could work, which kids could go to school, and whether you were allowed to visit dying relatives.

Authoritarianism? Democrats wrote the playbook.

Remember when they tried to force tens of millions of Americans to get vaccinated or be fired, denied healthcare access, or banned from public spaces? OSHA’s “vax or test” order was so overreaching it got slapped down by the Supreme Court. California and New York doubled down and kept the mandates anyway—because nothing says “democracy” like rule-by-bureaucrat.

Speaking of kings: Biden, Newsom, and their coastal court jesters have no problem overriding local governments when it suits them. Want to keep your town from being bulldozed into a prefab “equity village”? Tough. Connecticut just told every municipality how much “fair share” housing they must zone for. If you thought zoning was boring, congratulations—you now live in a state-run SimCity.

But hey, at least they’re consistent. If you’re a 15-year-old girl in Illinois, you don’t need parental consent to get an abortion. But God forbid you try to sell lemonade without a state license or use the wrong pronoun in a New York City bodega—civil fines await. Welcome to Progressive Freedom™, where everything is legal except personal responsibility.

And while Democrats hyperventilate over ICE raids and “militarization,” they conveniently forget the facts: 85% of those arrested by ICE under Trump had criminal records or pending charges. These weren’t nannies and dishwashers. They were convicted felons. The response? Protest. Because clearly, the real danger to our republic is enforcing existing law.

Meanwhile, Trump’s administration was so “king-like” that the courts have consistently upheld its actions—like using the National Guard to prevent cities from descending into third-world chaos. The horror! Imagine a president enforcing the law while blue-state governors sip lattes and pretend Antifa is just a myth.

Here’s the truth: Democrats are tired. Not from governing, mind you—but from defending the indefensible. They can’t explain what they stand for anymore, so they shout about what they’re against: parents, borders, fossil fuels, nuclear families, meritocracy, and any cartoon villain they can Photoshop into a MAGA hat.

What’s left? They’re for criminals, non-citizens, drug dens, groomer curricula, and press releases about pronouns.

The Republican Party, on the other hand, is attracting more young voters than ever—especially young men and women sick of being told their faith, families, and futures are “problematic.” Conservatives are now the party of law and order, of economic sanity, and—let’s face it—of basic reality.

So next time you hear a liberal accuse a Republican of tyranny, racism, or extremism, remember: they’re just confessing. Out loud. To everyone. Because deep down, they know who’s really behaving like a king.

And it ain’t us.

An excellent article! Spot on as to what the Democratic [Socialist Controlled] Party has been doing for decades. And the main-stream media is totally in with it. They enable the Dems to get away with their “Freudian Politics” by not calling the Dems out about it, as well as quite often participating in the same tactic themselves via their selective and politically biased coverage with over the top 24×7 coverage of a Republican Party “sin” and a coverup or hardly even mentioning a major Democratic [Socialist] Party “sin”. I will share an excerpt of this very good and educational article with my blog followers and provide a link back to the full article here at ThePostEmail. Many people have likely seen what you describe is going on. And some more erudite debaters might know the psychology term for it, i.e., “projection”, but would prefer an easier to remember, clever name tag to use in debate for what the Dems are doing. As Saul Alinsky said to the radicals in his training manual, Rules for Radicals, give your target a name. Well you have given their tactic a name. You have now given it a clever and easy to remember name tag, i.e., the “Freudian Politics” of the Dems. I hope people start using the name tag for the Dems psychology projection tactics and challenging Dem politicians and/or their media sycophants about it by calling them out to their faces on their “Freudian Politics” tactics when they engage in it. Lots of people need to read this insightful article and circulate it. I will circulate it to all my social media followers too. Thank you for writing this article.
