Dear Editor,
Donald Trump has so often said, “I have good relations with so and so…so, I can do a deal with them.” This bloke was beginning to believe that Trump (who does have some really good policies/ideas) could sweet-talk the most delightful cherries off a lemon tree and con the pants off a scarecrow!
However, with Trump’s failure to – as promised! – end the current Ukraine-Russia War (now involving nuclear-armed, rogue nation North Korean troops) within a day, this bloke now thinks Trump, after his talks with North Korea’s fruit-loop leader; Russia’s ex-KGB Putin; Red China’s Xi, now conducting mock invasions of Taiwan; Iran’s near nuclear-armed mad mullahs; and impending chat with, a bet each way, Turkey’s shifty Erdogan; must by now be realising what William Shakespeare did 400 years ago in that, “The Devil can cite Scripture for his purpose” and to “Look like the innocent flower, but be the serpent under it,” Trump looks as helpless…as the most hapless, plumpest, Thanksgiving…turkey!
