Dear Editor,
As a very staunch Coalition-self funded! bomb-thrower, this bloke’s so very glad for women’s and children’s rights protector Moira Deeming’s win, and so sad at so very, very a decent bloke, with such appalling judgement, John Pessuto’s loss!
Make no mistake: this writer has great empathy with and sympathy, support and respect for that tiny number amongst us born neither completely a man nor or a woman. That said, I do not support “modified males” masquerading as women in women‘s sports, etc.
And I certainly abhor the lifelong mental and physical damage inflicted upon mixed-up young people in some ‘gender-bender’ medical procedures.
Fact: a person’s sex cannot be changed (despite bits being added and/or removed), and “gender” is merely a social construct!
