(Nov. 18, 2024) — At approximately 4:00 a.m. on Monday, President-Elect Donald J. Trump confirmed a statement from Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton that once he takes office he will “declare a national emergency and will use military assets to reverse the Biden invasion through a mass deportation program.”
“TRUE!!!” was Trump’s simple reply to Fitton’s November 8 claim on TruthSocial.
Illegal border-crossings were a hallmark of Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign and returned in full force in 2024 after illegal aliens poured into the country in unprecedented numbers over the term of Joe Biden.
During the campaign Trump claimed as many as 21 million illegals crossed the nation’s borders, and he often spoke of University of Georgia nursing student Laken Riley; 37-year-old mother of five Rachel Morin; and 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray of Houston, all of whom were murdered by illegal aliens with previous criminal histories.
The trial of Riley’s alleged perpetrator, Jose Ibarra of Venezuela, began last week. Ibarra waived his right to a jury trial and faces conviction or exoneration by a judge.
During his first term in 2020, Trump issued a proclamation making October “Remembrance Month for Americans Killed by Illegal Aliens,” The Remembrance Project reports.
