(Sep. 9, 2024) — Shortly after 12:30 p.m. EDT Monday, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA14) opened a hearing titled, “Unusually Cruel: Investigation Into Treatment of J6 Political Prisoners” featuring six witnesses, including targets of the FBI or spouses in the aftermath of the incursion into the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.

“MTG,” as she is often called, was flanked by several other congressmen, including Chip Roy (R-TX21).

The “Stop the Steal” rally was organized for January 6, 2021, the day Congress was to certify the results of the November 3, 2020 presidential election which millions of Americans believed, and may still believe, denied then-President Donald J. Trump a second consecutive term through widespread voter fraud.

The first witness, Mr. Evans, told a chilling tale of an FBI raid on his home with his 13-year-old son held at gunpoint on the porch and expressed solidarity with the approximately 1,500 others who were arrested and/or incarcerated through what he said is a defiled “justice” system prejudiced against “conservatives.”

“No police officers died that day,” Evans said, but averred that in the aftermath of early-morning raids, “four children” in utero lost their lives.

“Four children,” he emphasized.

He also named the four Americans who died that day, including Rosanne Boyland, whose death was first reported by Cara Castronuova, a citizen journalist for The Gateway Pundit seated beside him.

The second witness, Jessica Rivera, testified that she and her husband, a Marine veteran active in his community, were raided by the FBI and later, “harmed” by the Democrat-led January 6 Committee who she said made false statements about what occurred that day.

After the 2022 elections, the Committee finished its work and disbanded given Republicans won the majority in the House of Representatives.

Her husband was incarcerated for eight months at a facility six hours away, Rivera said, when a federal prison close to them could have sufficed. She described her husband’s treatment as a “betrayal.”

Brandy Bowen, wife of a J6 prisoner who remains incarcerated in the federal prison in Washington, DC described heinous conditions within the facility and alleged correction officers taunted J6 prisoners.

Castronuova then testified, focusing on the then-Twitter platform’s “censorship” about “what actually occurred” on January 6, including what happened to Boyland.

“I was the first person to make contact with the J6 prisoners,” Castronuova said, after which she said several told her they witnessed U.S. Capitol Police Officer Lila Morris “beating” a peaceful female protester who turned out to be Boyland.

Morris has seen no consequences “to this day,” Castronuova said.

A video of the incident was aired.

Some J6 defendants sentenced to “multiple years in prison,” Castronuova said, were reacting to the beating of Boyland.

Boyland did not “die of a drug overdose,” Castronuova said, and “was cremated very quickly, so her autopsy report…was very interesting…the DC coroner said she died of a drug overdose,” which Castronuova said is untrue.

Castronuova then held up a full-length photo she alleged was Morris smiling in uniform.

She said major media has not corrected its “misinformation” on how Boyland died and that “the majority of Congress have refused to acknowledge her life, her death…”

“Dangerous censorship” resulted in the false story about Boyland, Castronuova said. “She was hit by a Capitol Police pepper ball,” she said. “She was then beaten viciously to the head and body…she turned blue, bleeding from the eye and died.”

Holding up another photo she described as “Rosanne dead,” Castronuova said the January 6 Committee had been in possession of the information but ignored it.

Citizen journalist Yehuda Miller spoke next about election integrity, providing data he gathered on vulnerabilities within election systems which he said have led to Americans losing faith in the outcomes.

Following Miller was Atty. Jonathan Gross, who discussed the federal government’s applying of certain laws to the J6 defendants, elevating misdemeanors to felonies in many cases.

The congressmen will visit the DC jail later Monday, they affirmed during a question-and-answer period following witness testimony.

“There is well-documented retaliation” against J6 prisoners after complaints are made to facility officials, Evans said.

If the prosecuting attornies and officiating judges do not have their oaths of office authenticated and recorded, under the constitution and statutes they can be discharged from office and sued by the unjustly imprisoned. Attorney Todd Callander researched and found only 1 DC circuit federal judge had done this.
