(Aug. 22, 2024) — At 12:04 p.m. EDT, “Infowars” host Alex Jones said independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. will endorse 2024 Republican presidential nominee Donald J. Trump’s bid for the White House.
His upcoming guest, Jones said, will be longtime Trump ally, writer, political commentator and men’s clothing consultant Roger Stone, who was briefly shown preparing for the interview in a dapper striped multi-colored shirt and suspenders.
After a commercial break, Jones turned to another topic briefly, then returned to Stone at 12:09 EDT.
Citing a single source, Jones said he has also heard from public reporting that there is a disagreement within the Kennedy campaign which could delay or nix RFK’s expected endorsement.
Approximately an hour prior to Jones’s announcement, The Denver Post reported:
Kennedy withdrew from the ballot in Arizona late Thursday, less than a week after he submitted well more than the required number of signatures to appear on the ballot. But his critics raised questions about the validity of some of the signatures, and the involvement of a pro-Kennedy super PAC to collect them risked potentially running afoul of rules against coordination between candidates and independent political groups.
According to The New York Daily News, Kennedy’s wife, Cheryl Hines, does not approve of Kennedy’s alleged coming endorsement of Trump.
Stone said he believes the endorsement will occur later Friday.
Kennedy is scheduled to address the public at 2:00 p.m. EDT/11:00 PDT “about the present historical moment and his path forward.”
On TruthSocial Thursday night, Trump announced a “special guest” at his rally in Glendale, AZ at 4:00 p.m. Mountain Time/6:00 p.m. EDT Friday.
