(Jul. 21, 2024) — And on this day July 20, 1969, while summer-training to be an engineer in Portland, Maine, I stayed up until 2 am or so to watch, on my 13″ black and white TV, the first human step foot on the moon. Neat.
So, for all the squabbles on this planet in 1969, engineers united and landed humans on the moon and returned them to Earth safely…and for all of today’s Earthly squabbles, U.S. engineers have Voyager 1 and 2 satellites sending signals back to planet Earth FROM OUTSIDE OUR SOLAR SYSTEM WHERE NO HUMAN ENDEAVOR HAS EVER BEEN. Neat.
In spite of all of humanity’s squabbles down here on planet Earth, with united passionate disciplined human critical thinking that fully harnesses our five natural common senses, MANKIND CONTINUES TO MAKE REAL PROGRESS INTO THE FUTURE. Neat.
