Dear Editor,
When I was young I had many questions; now that I am old, I have many more:
- Is the United States still an affordable place to live?
- Is it fair to have men compete against women in sports?
- Why are Chinese citizens crossing the US border in droves as they arm the world’s largest military and threaten the USA?
- Would these adversaries in #3 above have a weapons stash via the cartels who have been coming over the border for years and sneaking weapons into the United States?
- If 3 and 4 are valid, why would the current government advance anti-Second Amendment policies so regular Americans can defend themselves and their families?
- How will the US Congress plan to pay Social Security checks and deposits to those who paid into the program for a lifetime and expect a New Deal payback?
- Since burning the US flag is legal per the Supreme Court decision on free expression, can I burn and desecrate Rainbow flags?
- I have several MAGA hats but haven’t seen any Build Back Better T-shirts?
- When did journalism become propaganda?
- Did sincerity on this planet die out to self-centeredness?
- Should we remember the time when the words “liberal” and “progressive” were positive terms?
- When did taking turns to present sides of an issue die?
- Hezbollah seems to be running scared. After all their missile attacks and with Hamas now all but destroyed, a rather round-end play on their part in requesting a peace talk to avoid annihilation, doesn’t that sound opportunistic?
- I note that Jill Biden is making all the speeches recently while her husband stands stoic like a zombie in the background. Could it be that she is not only running the nation but holding up the invocation of the 25th Amendment so she can hold the reins of power?
- Is Jill Biden an elected president or running the country like President Woodrow Wilson’s spouse Edith did in 1919 to 1921?
More questions to follow. . . .
