(Jun. 6, 2024) — In a prerecorded interview with 2024 Republican presidential presumptive nominee Donald J. Trump aired on Thursday’s “Hannity,” host Sean Hannity asked Trump when he planned to announce his running-mate, a topic of much speculation in recent weeks.
Trump responded he would make it “during the convention,” which takes place next month in Milwaukee, terming it a customary time to do so in presidential election cycles.
Those said to be on Trump’s VP list are Sen. Marco Rubio (FL); Sen. Tim Scott (SC); Sen. JD Vance (OH); Dr. Ben Carson, who served as Trump’s HUD secretary during his first term; Sen. Tom Cotton (AR); Rep. Elise Stefanik (NY); Rep. Byron Donalds (FL), North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum; and several others.
Later in the program Hannity hosted Scott, who when asked if he would accept the nomination if it were proffered, responded with, “I haven’t been asked yet.”

Having launched his own presidential run in May of last year which he suspended in November, Scott has become a bold surrogate for Trump, including a recent initiative intended to reach minority voters.
On Wednesday night “Watters’ World” host Jesse Watters reported that Vance, Rubio and Burgum were asked to provide documentation requested by the Trump campaign and that others were also under consideration.
The first part of Hannity’s interview with Trump was broadcast Wednesday night during the entire 9:00-10:00 p.m. ET hour.

A thorough vetting of Rubio should reveal a myriad of concerns re: his constitutional qualifications. Given the fact that Rubio was born to Cuban citizen parents it should be a no-brainer for Trump to eliminate him from VPOTUS contention. Failure to do so would be an indication that Trump truly fails to understand the NATURAL born citizen requirement or simply does not care. Such ignorance or purposeful disregard for the constitutional requirements would greatly hinder any possible effort in the future to expose the fraud perpetrated by usurpers Obama and Harris. A Rubio candidacy would mean that all three major candidates for POTUS would have unconstitutional VP selections: Harris, Rubio and Shanahan. All three at best are merely NATIVE born but NOT the requisite NATURAL born as mandated in Article II. What a sad state of affairs.
All true. In addition, some states require the nominating political party to sign documentation that the candidates are constitutionally eligible for the office before they can be placed on the ballot. The Democrats willfully lied in 2008 and 2012 when they asserted that Barack Obama will eligible. I hope the Republican party doesn’t follow suit with a Rubio.
The Republican party might follow suit because they did and said nothing to stop the ineligible Obama from being sworn-in. Both parties committed big-time treason by doing nothing to stop Obama, which is why they are now doing everything to cover for Obama and/or anyone who could lead to Obama. The punishment for treason can be death, and there is no statute of limitation. This means both parties protect Obama and the last person they want as president is Obama’s nemesis, Donald Trump. They do this to protect what is most important…themselves.
The more ineligible people who serve in positions they are not qualified for the more safe all complicit in.The Obama Fraud believe they are…The objective is to make born in the U.S.A. replace the Constitutions original meaning of NBC by ignoring it…..This is one of the reasons there are so many RINOS………..Allowing the ineligible Obama to be America’s putative president and commander-in-chief is giving America’s government and her military to her enemies…….high level treason….
