Where Is Snake Plissken Now That We Need Him?

(Apr. 20, 2024) — “Who is Snake Plissken?” you might ask.  We will get to that later.

New York City has a history of oscillating between being the best and worst city in the world. Giuliani made it great with low crime. Now New York City has become a cross between a third-world slum and the deceased Soviet Union. New York began a rapid deterioration under the mayorship of Bill deBlasio, née Warren Wilhelm Jr., a proponent of the Sandinistas and democratic socialism. Crime, anarchy and corruption have reached historic levels under the current mayor, Eric Adams; the George Soros DA, Alvin Bragg; and New York Attorney General Letitia James.  No one is safe in New York City except perhaps the Pizza Rats^TM who infest the city.

Snake Plissken, played by Kurt Russell, was the hero in John Carpenter’s “Escape From New York” whose mission was to rescue the President being held prisoner in a New York which had been transformed into a penal colony.  Bridges were sealed off from the rest of America. Crime Lords controlled New York where anarchy and lawlessness were rampant as mobs became the enforcers. Sound familiar?

The American judicial system has turned into a kinder, gentler version of the Soviet Union’s 1937 show trials where innocent people were imprisoned or executed for their political beliefs. It was immaterial that most were innocent. “Show me the man and I’ll find you the crime,” said Lavrentiy Beria, Stalin’s secret police chief. Alvin Bragg and his political hitman, Judge Merchan, are students of Beria. America is just warming up by politically silencing President Trump who is virtually a prisoner in New York while he is on trial for misdemeanors that have been magically transformed into felonies beyond the statute of limitations. The Trump Persecution^TM key witness is Michael Cohen, who is a convicted perjurer.  The jury is composed of zombie Trump Haters^TM. President Trump has also been charged with a mind- blowing, unconstitutional, half-billion-dollar bond by Letitia James, from a separate real estate “fraud” case, endemic in every real estate transaction. There is no crime there. The crime bosses of New York are trying to jail and bankrupt Trump only because he is running for President. This is election interference which silences Trump while Biden mutters about cannibals. If they can do this to President Trump, then it is a historic certainty that they will soon come for you.  Snake Plissken, where are you?

The Gangs of Venezuela have become the Gangs of New York as ten million criminals have invaded our Southern border. Gunfights break out in the subways, women are punched in the face, bail (except for Trump) is virtually non-existent, squatters occupy homes and criminals are released back into the streets within hours. Unpunished crime and looting are rampant. As an homage to the 1938 Kristallnacht in Nazi Germany, antisemitic mobs block bridges and threaten Jews in New York. Snake, where are you?

We are all Snake Plissken this November. Let’s rescue Trump and America from these proto- dictators. New York City will unlikely ever recover so maybe we should take Ripley’s advice from “Aliens” and “Nuke the entire site from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.”
