On Beyond Zeitgeist

Zeitgeist is defined as the spirit or mood of a particular period of history showing the ideas and beliefs of the time.  Shall we poke the animals who create our most peculiar zeitgeist?

With further apologies to Dr. Seuss:

So, on beyond Zeitgeist!
Explore!
Like Columbus 
Discover new letters!
Like BLUND is for Blunderbus,
The California Governor whose pomade hair never relaxes.
Blunderbus Gavin Newscomb who always raises your taxes.
He always lies to you all no matter what the facts is.

And PEL is for an extinct animal called PELOSI.
Who was lashed to a Republican mast and sailed swiftly out to SEA.
She was last seen flailing her ARM.
But far out to sea, she can no longer do any HARM.
She was a hateful WRETCH.
But wait, there is no longer any need for me to KVETCH.

And ‘way, ‘way past Z is a letter called IDEN
And IDEN is for a failed President called BIDEN.
Who tumbles, tumbles, tumbles on a ramp UPHILL
Until he stumbles, stumbles, stumbles on a level floor DOWNHILL.
He says THIS is THAT until he hears that polls prefer THIS to THAT.
Then BIDEN boldly proclaims that THAT is once again THIS and THAT is THAT.

The last letter past Z is the wonderful UMP.
Who used to be on TV but now he is just TRUMP.
A big mouth maybe, but he is no cry BABY.
He SAYS what he MEANS and MEANS what he SAYS
Some say he is just MEAN but that’s not who he IS.
TRUMP is as strong as orange colored FLINT.
And he will make the most beautiful next PRESIDENT.

A funny strange world as strange as can BE
Now all who have reached this far can plainly SEE.
There is so much more to explore beyond Z.
