Dear Editor,
Prime Minister Anthony “Albo” Albanese (and Labor, Australia-wide) appears stunned to realise that so many of the Aussie people have woken up to the true meaning of that great Turkish adage:
“The forest kept shrinking; yet the trees kept voting for the axe: for the axe was clever, and convinced the trees that, because his handle was made of wood; he (the axe) was one of them.”
