(Feb. 6, 2024) — In a move sure to rattle mainstream media and censorship-happy legacy platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and others, IPAK-EDU continues its mission to help people empower themselves through knowledge with today’s surprise launch of THE NEW MEDIA CHANNEL.
Its inaugural episode is also the very first episode of THE BRAD MILLER SHOW, featuring host Brad Miller and guest Rob Green (see more below). Brad’s content features fascinating people discussing intriguing ideas.
Key to the strategy of THE NEW MEDIA CHANNEL is self-syndication, says creator and founder Dr. James Lyons-Weiler.
“Self-syndication is the process by which content providers like The New Media Channel refuse to subjugate themselves to any one platform’s terms and conditions,” says Lyons-Weiler. “Basically, they publish on all platforms that will host them via simulrelease or simulcast, making censorship by any one platform irrelevant”.
Dr. Lyons-Weiler’s monthly show is a thumb in the eye of censors – it is entitled ‘THIS SHOW WILL BE CENSORED’. The first episode of “CENSORED” is expected later this month.
Another aspect of THE NEW MEDIA CHANNEL is PROACTIVE, not REACTIVE reporting and coverage. “We’re not here to cover the latest-breaking story, but instead to provide steady, regular, considered analysis on topics that matter, and that have mattered, sometimes for a long time,” said Lyons-Weiler. “We have a lot of work to do to undo the damage of internet censorship, and we’re joining others who have taken a vanguard position in that effort,” he said.
The third ingredient is co-promotion, a hallmark of Lyons-Weiler’s style. “I was once told while working in cancer research that I was ‘collaborative to a fault’. I took it as a huge compliment, and it’s a winning strategy. Look at what we’ve done with IPAK, IPAK-EDU, and POPULAR RATIONALISM. I showcase good people and effective organization. The rest just falls into place”.
