(Jan. 30, 2024) — At 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, the House Homeland Security Committee, chaired by Rep. Mark Green, MD (R-TN7) convened to “mark up” two Articles of Impeachment against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for alleged “high crimes and misdemeanors” for having “violated laws enacted by Congress regarding immigration and border security.”

As of 10:45 a.m., votes on various motions and amendments, including a “motion to table,” appear to be divided on party lines, 18-14.
