(Jan. 27, 2024) — On Friday, New York State citizen and registered voter Robert C. Laity received a response from the New York Attorney General’s Division of Criminal Justice, Public Integrity Bureau to his complaint that the New York State Board of Elections (NYSBOE) has been inaccurately expressing a criterion for presidential eligibility over 15 years or more.
Since at least 2008, the U.S. Constitution’s Article II, Section 1, clause 5 requirement that the president be a “natural born Citizen” is inaccurately stated as “born a citizen” on the NYSBOE’s website.
After contacting the Board on numerous occasions over the years, on January 2 Laity filed the complaint with the New York State Division of Election Law Enforcement, copying in the attorney general’s office and this writer.
Friday’s letter from Attorney General Letitia James’s office to Laity states that the Public Integrity Bureau’s “Constituent Services” division has “added the information to our files.”
“It is through complaints such as yours that we learn of patterns of fraud and illegality,” the letter continues.
Early Saturday morning, Laity responded to the “Constituent Services” email address with:

Ms. Hanson,
I hope that you do more than just “add the information to [y]our files”. Your office should IMMEDIATELY see that the criteria error that I reported be corrected to reflect the fact that a President MUST be a “Natural Born Citizen” and not just “Born a Citizen”.
While I am at it, I wish to apprise you that Nikki Haley Is NOT a Natural Born Citizen of the United States. Neither is Kamala Harris or Vivek Ramaswamy.
A “Natural Born Citizen is one born in the United States to parents who are both U.S. Citizens themselves”- Minor v. Happersett, U.S. Supreme Court, (1874) Unanimous.

Only today’s legal scoundrels, not “Constitutional scholars”, could find Canada-born, Canada-citizen, derived-Cuban-citizenship-allegiance, Rafael “Ted” Cruz, to equal a precedential-presidential-evident-nbC-president 1788- 2008/Obama (220 years)!
Imagine if the Founding Fathers had specified that all U.S. Presidents must also be verifiable descendants of The Pilgrims of 1620! Today’s legal scoundrels would have a hay day twisting their away around that standard, huh?
And think of this: what U.S. citizen today can confidently stake their life on stating exactly where AFFIRMATIVE discriminACTION FAKE presIDent Obama was born (Kenya? Hawaii? Canada? other?)? Risking your life on that declaration would be like playing “Obama-birthplace Russian Roulette” even today! SHAMEFUL!

LESSON LEARNED: Going forward, We the People on Main Street USA must demand that all candidates/incumbents/ex-incumbents for USA’s highest offices provide their own verifiable irrefutable non-contested proof of sole-U.S.-citizenship (U.S. Presidents and Vice Presidents) and U.S. citizenship (U.S. Senators and Representatives), or else, all these highest office seekers and occupiers and retirees must not be placed on the ballot (candidates), must be removed from office as uncooperative/rebuttable imposters (incumbents) and must be rendered ineligible for continued retirement privileges/benefits/compensations (ex-incumbents), and, thereafter, formally prosecuted for possible U.S.-citizenship-fraud.

I recently viewed a podcast on Wolves and Finance that shed a light on the real possibility that Barack Obama may not be an American citizen. When that issue was originally raised I was of the opinion that unhinged conspiracy theorists were playing to the uneducated

The New York Board of Elections was formed by executive order in 1974, some 50 years ago. In 50 years of their publications on candidate qualifications, was there ever a published change for presidential qualifications from “natural born Citizen” to “born a Citizen”, or has it always been “born a Citizen” for said 50 years?

Great question Jon. I see that the NYBOE has made some website changes for 2024. It appears however that as of 1:45 am, EST, January 28, 2024 the website has NOT been revised to reflect the criteria for being elected President as being a “Natural Born Citizen”.
