(Nov. 12, 2023) — In an interview with Outkick founder Clay Travis and co-host Buck Sexton Wednesday, 45th President and 2024 Republican presidential candidate Donald J. Trump said if he receives the nomination next summer, he “would consider” journalist and commentator Tucker Carlson as a vice-presidential candidate.

Trump also asserted “it’s possible” he would choose someone from among the remaining Republican presidential candidates who qualified to take part in the third Republican debate that evening. In late September, however, Trump said his potential running-mate would not be any of the Republican presidential hopefuls.

Following an afternoon rally in Claremont, NH Saturday, Trump attended a UFC event at Madison Square Garden in New York City accompanied by singer Kid Rock and Tucker Carlson, which some commenters on “X” viewed as a suggestion Carlson is a vice-presidential candidate.

In an interview with Glenn Greenwald Tuesday, Carlson said although he has “never” donated to a political candidate, he would send “the maximum” allowed by law to Trump if he is convicted of any of 91 collective criminal charges he is facing in four jurisdictions.

“I’ve never sent money to a politician, but if Trump is convicted then I’m sending him the max,” Carlson told Greenwald. “I think a lot of people feel that way. Just as a middle finger.”

As an intro to that broadcast, #37 of Carlson’s debut on “X,” Carlson wrote, “The two defining tragedies of our time — the war in Ukraine and the presidency of Joe Biden — are both finally coming to an end.”

As this story went to press, “Tucker Carlson” appeared at the top of “X” trends, whereas it had been absent just moments before.

Despite Tucker Carlson’s intellect, appearance, and pleasing personality, I respectfully opine that he would NOT be a good fit as a running mate with Donald Trump. If that turned out to be the Republican ticket, it obviously would be two white guys. Remember the hamburger chain “Five Guys” and the fact, as I recall, that it went out of business? Anyway, that’s not really relevant. On the other hand, I would like to see a woman, lady, female, or whatever the feminine gender is being called today (I am not a biologist!) on the ticket as opposed to two white guys. I am not talking about Kari Lake or Kristi Noem. I would be interested, though, in the candidacies of Senator Marsha Blackburn, Candace Owens, Judge Jeanine Pirro, Tulsi Gabbard, and possibly Condoleeza Rice (not certain of her world views and politics). Anyway, you get the idea. To balance my running mate choices by gender, I note Senator Tom Cotton, Senator Dr Rand Paul or his father Dr Ron Paul, Rep Jim Jordan, and possibly Gov Ron Desantis (would require some “mending of fences”). Finally and admittedly a bit off topic, I promise that I will never vote for a Democrat, a Socialist, a Communist, or any other probable or real enemy of the state. Also, I pledge to continue openly my disdain for traitors to our country, including Barack HUSSEIN Obama, CIA and FBI management, the elder George Bush and son George W, Joe Biden, Dr Anthony Fauci, associates of the Deep State, NWO (New World Order, or Nazi World Order), and/or others who are dangerous terrorists and anti-American supremacists whether or not their skin color is white.
