(Oct. 15, 2023) — In a TruthSocial post on Saturday evening, 45th President Donald J. Trump predicted a meeting among “Republican” operatives former Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, now a Fox News Board member; Trump’s second attorney general, William P. Barr; and U.S. Senator from Utah Mitt Romney, who is not seeking re-election in 2024.
Now an adversary of all three, Trump termed Ryan a “RINO” (Republican in Name Only); Romney a “loser”; and Barr as possessing “no guts or talent.”
Since the outcome of the 2020 presidential election and Barr’s resignation in late December that year, Trump and Barr have traded barbs, with Barr suggesting Trump is guilty as charged by the DOJ of mishandling “classified” documents following an FBI raid on his Mar-a-Lago resort in August 2022.
Without naming the “candidates,” Trump has recently predicted Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, once considered a viable alternative to Trump but whose popularity has waned in recent polling leaving him some 50 or more points behind Trump in many surveys, will exit his quest for the Republican nomination in the near future.
At one point Trump suggested DeSantis, who is serving his second term as Florida’s chief executive, might turn his sights to a U.S. Senate seat.
In 2018, Trump endorsed DeSantis, who was considered an underdog in the Republican primary against Florida Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam, but afterward catapulted in the polls, went on to win the primary and the governorship. In 2022, he won a second term by a larger margin than previously.
Saying his was committed to serving Floridians during his gubernatorial campaign, after winning DeSantis soon changed his stance, entered the presidential race, and began criticizing Trump’s policies. He also claimed Trump’s endorsements of him in both 2018 and 2022 were not necessary for him to have won.
Trump has posted videos of DeSantis reading stories to his young children at the time about Trump’s platform of “Make America Great Again.”
After their presumed meeting with “broken political ‘investors,'” Trump predicted, the “investors” will “come to me, as most already have.”
He did not elaborate on what he anticipates the “investors” might ask of him or if he believes they will throw their financial support behind his 2024 campaign, launched nearly a year ago directly following the 2022 midterm elections.
“These failed candidates should have started by campaigning effectively, which they didn’t because they really don’t have the skill or the talent to do so…” Trump continued. He berated Romney and Ryan, who ran as Romney’s vice president, for failing in 2012 to achieve victory over Barack Hussein Obama, who won a second term in the White House.
Trump was the only high-profile politician to publicly question Obama’s eligibility to serve as president, following a challenge to Obama to produce his “long-form” birth certificate to prove he is a “natural born Citizen” as required by Article II, Section 1, clause 5 of the U.S. Constitution.
The image finally produced by the Obama White House was found to be a forgery during a 5+-year investigation carried out by the Maricopa County, AZ Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) under then-Sheriff Joseph Arpaio.
“But remember, Republicans eat their young; they really do,” Trump continued. “…they just don’t have the loyalty and strength to stick together…these people are losers…”
Referring to the party as a “nation,” he said it should “unify, and unify fast. We need Joe Biden out of there; he’s destroying America.”
In his classic manner, he concluded the statement with, “Thank you very much.”
IMO it’s Trump’s knowledge of Obama’s usurpation of America’s presidency which fuels most of the fear and hate of Trump from both parties. The Uniparty existed prior to Obama, but it became more united than ever when both parties committed treason by doing nothing to stop Obama from being sworn-in. Both parties gave America’s government and her military to her enemies when they did nothing to stop Obama and they must cover for that treason…forever. They thought it would be easy because Hillary Clinton was going to be installed as the after Obama cover president for 8 years. When that did not happen and Donald Trump was elected instead both parties panicked to remove Trump from office as soon as possible. When B.S. investigations failed they tried impeaching Trump…and that failed also. Finally, they removed Trump from office in the stolen 2020 election and now they will do anything to prevent Trump from being president again. All of this was and is easy to see and understand, but both parties are still defending Obama and others complicit in the Obama fraud because they are also complicit. For something so easy to see and follow all the way from it’s beginning the fact that this is still in process and more obvious than ever is extremely frustrating……… currently the bad guys are still running and ruining America…..
