Re: Israel-Hamas War and Palestinian Civilians in Gaza

In the Israel-Hamas war, Israel seems more concerned with wiping out Hamas, and less concerned about collateral damage.

As a friend to Israel, the United States must counsel and help them to avoid genocide against the many children, women, and civilians in Gaza.

People live so close together in that region, non-combatants are certainly endangered by military action. Cool heads and true compassion for humanity are needed to preserve innocent life, and by extension to prevent ourselves from unwittingly participating in a genocide of retribution.

We should be certain we do not desire to score points or gain a global-political advantage at the cost of so many people caught between angry adversaries.

Remember that there are Israelis, Palestinians, Americans (possibly), and other nationalities and people groups in Gaza.

  2. Why, after an horrendous event perpetrated by the evilness of man does the call for compassion become a crescendo, ever increasing. Read the Koran and Hadith. You will find there is no compassion for “non-believers”. The Muslim world will not stop until they put it place Sharia Law, world wide, for us infidels. Thomas Jefferson, our 3rd President read the Koran and knew this as he sent the Marines to Tripoli more than 200 years ago.
Islam should be compared to cancer. It starts small, then metastasizes and destroys the host. Drastic measures are required to stop or eradicate it.
The cancer in America began with the immigration of so many Islamist people from that part of the world. They settled into places like Minneapolis and Detroit without assimilation. A Christian country inviting its own death.
Tell me I’m wrong but locally, the Muslims in Detroit actually have a part of the city where Christians are forbidden to enter. Check out their local government and then learn who Rashida Talib is. They have percolated into the National Government where the “Squad” now represents Islam and not the United States of America. Minnesota is another location where Islam has metastasized for the same reason as in Michigan. How many times do you get punched in the face before you protect yourself?
Israel is Humane as it calling for the evacuation of the innocent from Northern Gaza. War between governments usually involves forces that are readily identifiable by the uniform they wear. In Gaza that is not the case. Unfortunately that increases the collateral damage to those that do not flee the area.
To ignore what is happening in Gaza and the eradication of Hamas, the cancer, is to turn a blind eye to the fact it will soon happen in America. Compassion?, I think it would be better to learn the lesson of Joshua and remove the evil while you can. Not very Christian of me but God will not have compassion on those who do the evil Hamas and Islam has done. To do less is to condone the merciless torture and killing they do.

To draw attention to one issue does not nullify another. The short of it is, I’ll never be on board with the idea of –you killed our kids so we’re gonna go kill a bunch of other kids.

      1. What is your solution to stop any kids from being killed?

        1. Unfortunately, humans are not going to stop killing each other in the near future, if ever. With regard to the matter at hand, some steps will be taken by some combatants, on both sides, to not intentionally kill children, as not all are consumed with rage or just plain evil. If we could only turn back the clock to when America was able to be great because the American organizations and people, freer and less burdened then, were more able and willing to come to the aid of foreign countries. Now, our military industrial complex typically provides the “aid” in the name of Democracy and diversity. That would be whether the people, and not their governments, want either of them or not. A slow global draw down of US forces and “three letter” agencies would probably do more to stem the loss of life, limb and freedom from everyone everywhere, including the chidren, than anything else.
