(Sep. 8, 2023) — As reported by Liberty Daily on its Rumble channel Friday morning, former Fox News contributor and independent journalist Lara Logan released a trailer to a documentary film regarding the events of January 6, 2021 at the U.S. Capitol which resulted in more than 1,000 arrests and unusually harsh prison sentences upon conviction in some cases.
Titled “The Rest of the Story,” the film is scheduled for release on September 14, the trailer states.
On Thursday on her “X” timeline, Logan posted that in the course of her investigation, “I learned so many things I did not expect and I was reminded why I still fight to go beyond the headlines and false narratives and find the truth that lies in the rest of the story…the parts you weren’t told.”
According to several sources, Logan’s film will also be available on Sovren Media and “X.”
Originally from South Africa, Logan has worked for CBS, GMTV (UK), Sinclair Broadcast Group and for Fox in a series, since canceled, titled, “Lara Logan Has No Agenda.” While many of her on-air statements and on social media are considered controversial, she is the recipient of at least five journalism awards between 2004 and 2011.
According to The Gateway Pundit, who appears in the film, the September 14 release is an initial installment in what will be a series.
