Twitter Phenomenon Sends Easter Greetings

(Apr. 9, 2023) — Early Sunday morning in the eastern time zone, prominent Twitter account “Buitengebieden,” who most frequently posts unusual videos of animals (and sometimes humans) from around the world, sent an Easter greeting from his home in Holland with a breathtaking video.

“Buitengebieden,” aka “Sander,” bills his account as “the positive side of Twitter” and his website “the positive side of the internet.” He has similar accounts on Instagram, Mastodon and YouTube.

As a longtime follower, The Post & Email has never seen the account post anything not child-friendly. Many of the videos capture astounding footage of animals with witty captions sure to entertain virtually anyone.

At approximately the same time as the Easter greeting, Buitengebieden posted another Easter-appropriate video with a touching addition.
