Dear Editor,
Early 20th century US President Theodore “Teddy” Roosevelt (a great conservationist and true warrior, proven brave in battle) often said: “Talk softly, but carry a big stick!”
The so-very-shallow Barack Obama (except when ‘eliminating’ bin Laden) often talked softly whilst losing America’s big stick (especially against Putin in the Crimea regions)!
The enigmatic Donald Trump (so very dearly needed to confront China by today’s weak-kneed Western world) so often talked so very, very loudly whilst so very often so very wildly waving America’s big stick about. He’s gone now after bloody well belting himself (and the West) over the head with it!
