Manus Island is one of the Admiralty Islands of Papua New Guinea (Wikipedia, public domain)

Dear Editor,

Who will finally put a substantial spoke in the wheel of the “woke” after conservative figures’ statues/busts (the likes of former Prime Ministers John Howard and Tony Abbott), along with great men, including the likes of Captain James Cook, are being attacked and defaced by ignorant and violent BLM-supporting mobs?

I ask because nothing’s changed since “Shame! Shame!” (and vile profanities and abuse unprintable here) was hurled at Abbott’s sister Christine Forster and her partner (now wife) Virginia as a violent crazed mob assaulted those two ladies right before my eyes as we entered Redfern Australian Technology Park, Sydney, 10th November 2017 to proudly attend a fundraising dinner for Abbott, with Peter Dutton a guest speaker.

After standing, wearing my “It’s OK to say NO” badge to provide a distraction, for my own protection the police pulled me in behind the two ladies who were not only being grabbed, but also punched! A policeman nearly went down on my left as he dealt with a male leaping at the two terrified women, and on my right a policeman hurled another attacker away. My back was pummelled (with thugs grasping at the women over my right shoulder) as we desperately struggled to hold our feet for the final 15 yards or so, with the police doing a brilliant job.
Once inside I spotted the indomitable “Take that, Sam!” (after financially thumping The Footy Show’s Sam Newman), diminutive Dr Susan Alberti AC (medical researcher whose great works benefit third-world countries), who was rather shaken up after also being caught all alone and surrounded and attacked by the mob (it was lucky for the mob that the police were on hand; otherwise, in her 70s, the so-very-courageous Dr Susan would’ve probably hooked a few of them)!

Anyway, those violent thugs did the Manus Island taxpayer-supported illegal immigrants no favours, because, after attacking these three ladies, all I can say of the then-(and today’s BLM- supporting) violent protesting thugs is “Shame! Shame! Shame!”

Yours,
