(Feb. 20, 2023) — 2:10 p.m. EST – According to a video and news reports issued within the last hour, Project Veritas founder and CEO James O’Keefe, III, who began his career in “guerilla journalism” 13 years ago, has been terminated from his role in the non-profit after a two-week suspension.

On February 9, O’Keefe was reportedly given “‘a few weeks of well-deserved’ paid time off” after 16 colleagues complained about his “management style.”

O’Keefe’s name began trending on Twitter shortly before 2:00 p.m. EST Monday, quickly moving to first place as news of his ousting traveled.

The referenced video, posted by Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, depicts O’Keefe’s announcement that he had been “removed” from his position as a plane in which he was traveling landed in Nashville.

Many reports say O’Keefe “resigned.”
