(Feb. 13, 2023) – On Monday Twitter user, “Kevin W,” who uses the name, “@Brink_Thinker” and often posts nostalgic videos and photos as well as inspirational clips, posted an extraordinary rendition of “God Bless America” performed by a quartet of men seated in a stairwell.
On his Twitter profile, “Kevin” states he is “Former Co-Host and Producer of America Out Loud” for a show titled, “The Brink of Greatness.”
“This is absolutely amazing,” he wrote above the video of the four vocalists, whose a capella performance of the patriotic song is distinguished by breathtaking harmonic changes and a non-traditional ending, “I can’t stop listening.”
As of this writing, the four remain unidentified amidst their obvious professional training and considerable talent.
Whoever they are, they chose an unusual chord structure for this loved song. It’s likely they aren’t members of the Barbershop Harmony Society, where thousands of men around the world sing beautiful a capella harmonies.
