Hannity Raises “Myocarditis” with Florida Surgeon General

(Feb. 2, 2023) — In a mainstream media breakthrough, “Hannity” host Sean Hannity on Wednesday spoke with Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo, MD, PhD, who stated his position that the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines pose a risk of cardiac adverse events, particularly in men under 40.

Until very recently, the “Trusted News Initiative (TNI),” which includes social-media giants Facebook and Twitter, have censored any information, even that issued by cardiologists and other physicians, questioning the safety and efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccines developed under a 2020 program Trump-administration program dubbed, “Operation Warp Speed.”

In recent “Twitter Files” revelations, the FBI, CDC, DHS, DOJ, and ODNI were found to have pressured Twitter to silence certain accounts for various reasons, with the CDC advocating for its staunch pro-vaccine position and against anyone perceived as a dissenting voice.

Despite adverse events numbering in the millions reported to the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting Services (VAERS) since the injectables were made available to the public in mid-December 2020, the Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) continues to promote the shots for individuals 6 months of age and older.

Documents obtained last July by America First Legal (AFL), founded by former Trump Senior advisor Stephen Miller, show that Facebook awarded the CDC a $15 million advertising credit to promote vaccination as the sole path out of the pandemic and squelch “vaccine misinformation.”

Hannity began the segment by reporting that “in May,” Joe Biden “officially” plans to allow to lapse the public health emergency declared in March 2020 over COVID-19. “But will doctors continue to push for the vaccine?” Hannity asked.

“Now Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo issued a warning back in October based on his analysis advising young men to avoid the vaccine due to an increased risk of cardiac-related death…His colleagues at the University of Florida are now claiming his work is ‘seriously flawed,'” he continued.

Pfizer, for its part, reportedly responded to Hannity’s inquiry with, “Numerous government agencies have authorized the vaccine and that it has saved lives.”

Introducing Ladapo, Hannity asked if the vaccines were approved under an “Emergency Use Authorization,” to which Ladapo responded, “That’s right…They were previously under Emergency Use Authorization. Everyone knows that the clinical trials were stopped early; we’ve learned many new things about safety since that time. You’ve reviewed some of those things during your interviews with other doctors, and at this point, most of them have full approval, but it’s full approval in name only. The safety of these vaccines is just so much worse than any other widely-used vaccines.”

The CDC has acknowledged that myocarditis and pericarditis have been reported after COVID-19 vaccination and began issuing a warning in the products’ informational sheets in June 2021.

“Your warning that some of these vaccines for men younger than men are outweighed by the dangers…I keep reading about myocarditis. I’m not a doctor,” Hannity told Ladapo. “I keep reading about a higher incidence of blood clotting…Is it from the virus itself? Do you believe it’s a combination of certain things?…That’s a pretty urgent warning that you sent out, and I know, you believe it was based on the science, correct?”

“It’s very kind of you, Hannity, to state the fact that you’re not a doctor,” Ladapo replied. “It really is OK to believe what your eyes are telling you and what your ears hear from your neighbors. The reality is that these vaccines absolutely increase the risk of cardiac injury, and it’s actually way beyond the myocarditis that you hear about; there’s even something called ‘subclinical myocarditis,’ and we were supposed to have data on that by now, but Pfizer got an extension on the data deadline from the FDA…”

Since the reported arrival of COVID-19 to the U.S. in January 2020, public health agencies have supported the CDC’s position in coping with the “pandemic” by imposing mask mandates, “social-distancing,” school and business closures, telehealth in place of in-person medical appointments, and urging citizens to “stay home” and “wear a mask.”

Following the nearly-universal shutdowns of early 2020, Florida was one of the earliest states to reopen its economy and schools, which generated considerable criticism of Gov. Ron DeSantis, who was then serving his first term.

In November, DeSantis was handily re-elected to a second term and is now widely seen as a likely Republican 2024 presidential candidate.

While the CDC insisted no therapeutics existed to treat COVID-19 and that sick individuals should simply isolate unless breathing problems developed, tens of thousands have died, particularly the elderly in residential homes and those with comorbidities such as diabetes, obesity, and other preexisting conditions.

The universal solution to the pandemic was awaiting the development of a vaccine, the CDC promoted. Following his brief advocating of the use of hydroxychloroquine as a prophylactic or early treatment for COVID, then-President Donald Trump fully embraced and touted vaccine manufacturers’ pledge to produce “vaccines, therapeutics, and diagnostics” through “Operation Warp Speed.”

The concentration, however, was on a vaccine or vaccines which would put an end to the pandemic and its associated hardships.

The release of vaccine products in mid-December 2020 quickly morphed into mandates for healthcare workers, college students, federal employees, the military, and later, students attending public schools.

In August 2021, the FDA ridiculed the consideration of ivermectin as a treatment for COVID-19, implying that the medicine is used only in animals when a human form has existed, with FDA approval and a Nobel Prize award, for decades, as noted in a medical paper published at the National Institute of Health’s pubmed website the following month.

In August, Ladapo asked the CDC to investigate a possible correlation between COVID-19 vaccination and myocarditis in young males in light of a Thai study which concluded that “Cardiovascular effects were found in 29.24% of patients, ranging from tachycardia, palpitation, and myopericarditis. Myopericarditis was confirmed in one patient after vaccination. Two patients had suspected pericarditis and four patients had suspected subclinical myocarditis.”

The study states, however, that “The clinical presentation of myopericarditis after vaccination was usually mild, with all cases fully recovering within 14 days. Hence, adolescents receiving mRNA vaccines should be monitored for side effects.”
