(Nov. 3, 2022) — Your humble servant has for a long time observed that if hypocrisy – the mother’s milk of the Left – did not already exist, a liberal would invent it at breakfast merely to avoid starvation before lunch.  Such is the case with the darling of the “Back-to-the Stone-Age” progressives, Greta Thunberg.

It is one thing to be a practicing hypocrite, which, standing alone, is bad enough.  But it is quite another to simultaneously rail against others as being hypocrites.  This, truly, constitutes hypocrisy on steroids or a complete abandonment of principles and logic… or in Thunberg’s case, perhaps both.

As reported here, Thunberg has finally confessed that her true goal has nothing at all to do with addressing “climate change” – the new buzzwords for what normally happens on Earth in roughly 10,000 year cycles, replacing “global warming” when that phrase didn’t work – but instead is more sinister.

Specifically, she has now admitted that her goal it to destroy capitalism in all of its horrific, colonialist, imperialist, oppressive, genocidal, racist and “extractionist” (whatever that is) forms.  Indeed, in her view, only the complete overthrow of “the whole capitalist system” will suffice.

Thunberg advances this goal, of course, while (a) wearing clothing made by capitalists; (b) sitting in upholstered chairs made by capitalists; (c) sheltered in an auditorium constructed by capitalists; (d) speaking into microphones made by capitalists; (e) which sound-amplifying devices are powered by electricity generated by capitalist power companies which are (f) fueled by capitalist energy producing companies…, even if wind or solar-sourced.

Tell me again that the solitary economic system which has successfully produced the highest standard of living for the most people in the history of the entire world now needs to be discarded according to the ipse dixit – “it is so because I say it is so” – of a teenaged Swedish hypocrite.

Memo to Thunberg: a microphone in the hands of a fool does not make the fool smarter.  It only makes the fool louder.  And actually, to be even more precise, it is the loudspeakers and the electronic impulse amplifiers connected to them that make the fool sound louder… and those are made by capitalists, too….
