(May 23, 2022) — The organization Stand for Health Freedom (SHF) is providing a three-hour free seminar beginning at 12:30 PM EDT Monday to educate the public on proposals currently under evaluation by the World Health Organization (WHO) which some fear may supplant the sovereignty of nations in regard to any future declared “pandemic” or health emergency.
The World Health Assembly (WHA), the “decision-making body of WHO,” convened in Geneva, Switzerland on Sunday in a conference which ends May 28 and can be viewed live. According to the WHA:

In January, U.S.-proposed amendments to the WHO’s 2005 International Health Regulations were delivered to the organization, whose current Director-General, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, is not a medical doctor.
In light of the group’s impending decision on whether to adopt the amendments, numerous petitions have arisen opposing it. Monday’s news items contain both cautionary views on the issue and “fact-checked” articles denying that the new proposals, if adopted, would result in the WHO’s overriding of nations’ ability to independently handle disease outbreaks.
Citing unnamed “experts,” on May 18 the AP reported:
The International Health Regulations, which are aimed at detecting disease outbreaks, allow the WHO director-general to declare a public health emergency of international concern. The proposed U.S. amendments seek to strengthen requirements for reporting such emergencies. Member countries agree to abide by the guidelines, but the WHO does not have the power to enforce them, nor can it interfere in other countries’ decision-making processes…

According to The Washington Post on Sunday, the WHA’s “global health talks” are “clouded by conspiracy theories about pandemic treaty.”
On May 19, vaccinologist Dr. Robert W. Malone, inventor of mRNA technology, wrote in a Substack column:

On May 4, well-known psychiatrist Dr. Peter Breggin and his wife, journalist Ginger Ross Breggin, authors of “COVID-19 and the Global Predators: We are the Prey,” warned that the Biden regime was “Handing Over U.S. Sovereignty to WHO.”

America’s Frontline Doctors (AFLDS) strongly opposes the creation and implementation of any treaty or international instrument that governs world pandemic preparedness and response.
In September 2020 President Donald J. Trump canceled the U.S.’s funding of and membership in the WHO effective July 2021. During his first few days in office, Biden reversed that decision. “He also appointed Dr. Anthony Fauci, head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease, to represent the United States on the world body’s executive committee,” USA Today reported at the time.
As the WHA holds its conference, the World Economic Forum (WEF), which has called for a “Great Reset” in the wake of the COVID-19 “crisis,” is meeting in Davos, Switzerland on a theme of “the global economy.”
