(Jan. 23, 2022) — A protest of government vaccine mandates and restrictions will commence Sunday morning at 11:30 on a route from the Washington Monument to the Lincoln Memorial.

Billed as “Defeat the Mandates: An American Homecoming,” the organizers of the event include mRNA technology inventor Dr. Robert W. Malone; Silicon Valley entrepreneur Steve Kirsch; and NBC Universal Local-Chicago Matt Tune, among others.

“The mandates are not American,” the event website states. “Stop the mass firings. Stop segregating by vaccination status. Stop calling Americans ‘unpatriotic’ for making a personal medical choice.”

Livestreaming will be provided by Del Bigtree’s “The Highwire,” Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s Children’s Health Defense, and by independent journalist Ivory Hecker, according to her Twitter feed.

Speakers will include a rabbi, a minister, “Fox Nation” host Lara Logan, and a number of physicians and scientists who have objected to the U.S. government’s COVID-19 narrative advocating for universal vaccination. One of those physicians, FLCCC co-founder Dr. Pierre Kory, will also give testimony at a hearing Monday to be chaired by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) calling for “a second opinion” on the government’s response.

The FLCCC reports that The Epoch Times will also provide livestreaming of the event.

Those attending are asked to assemble at the Washington Monument at 10:30 a.m. The route is approximately a mile, the website states, and will culminate in speakers’ addresses and entertainment.

According to CHD:

The goal of the march is to peacefully protest vaccine mandates, vaccine passports, COVID vaccines for children, and censorship. Participants will be marching in support of informed consent, natural immunity, and the doctor/patient relationship which should exist independent of government interference.

In addition to objecting to COVID vaccine mandates on democratic principle, many are also expressing concern about the safety of these shots citing that as yet another reason to protest mandates. The latest data from the U.S. government’s Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) reveals 1,033,994 adverse events following COVID vaccination including 21,745 deaths.

“The intentional efforts of many governments around the world to segregate people is not a new thing,” Jessica Rose, PhD, wrote in her prepared remarks. “But it should absolutely not be tolerated. Our sacred documents were written to protect us, the people, from having to succumb to tyranny, corruption, deceit, malfeasance, medical experimentation and undemocratic impositions.”

Kirsch, too, provided the text on his Substack of what he plans to say on Sunday, which includes:

We are being mandated to take a vaccine for a societal benefit without ever being shown the risk-benefit analysis.

There is a reason for that. The benefit is negative. According to over 12 studies, the vaccines are killing at least 15 people for every life that the vaccines were projected to save. And we are permanently disabling even more. For kids, I’ve seen a risk benefit analysis showing we kill over 100 kids to save 1 kid from COVID.

NOBODY has the right to MANDATE that I must risk my life to save other people I don’t know. That’s unethical and immoral. I would not voluntarily choose to deprive my kids of their father.

In another post published early Sunday morning, Kirsch wrote, “The most troubling part of the pandemic to me is the lack of transparency and accountability. The authorities love to create mandates we must follow, but they refuse to be held accountable.”

As “Defeat the Mandates” reports, Sunday’s march in Washington is only one of many major cities which will see protests against vaccine mandates and COVID-19 social restrictions.

At 9:11 a.m., weekend “Fox & Friends” co-host Will Cain announced the march, quoting one of the organizers, Will Witt, who said those participating object to “Draconian” measures imposed as a result of the COVID-19 “pandemic.”

“This is about force, Rachel,” Cain concluded the segment, addressing co-host Rachel Campos-Duffy, who declared she did not receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

“…I suspect it will be big,” Campos-Duffy commented of the Washington march, drawing parallels to the annual March for Life which she said she attended on Friday.

Co-host Johnny Joey Jones then invoked the concept of “natural immunity.” which government health agencies have largely ignored as a reason to decline the COVID-19 vaccines.

“SWEEPING VACCINE RULES SPARK PROTESTS WORLDWIDE,” the chyron read as the co-hosts spoke and video of protests from around the world was shown.

“I got the vaccine,” Jones said, but that he contracted the virus later.

“…Good for them; I’d like to see how many people show up there,” Campos-Duffy rejoined, stating that “Fox News will cover it.”

In an article Friday, The Washington Post wrote of the march, “Almost two years into the coronavirus pandemic, the movement to challenge vaccines’ safety — and reject vaccine mandates — has never been stronger. An ideology whose most notable adherents were once religious fundamentalists and minor celebrities is now firmly entrenched among tens of millions of Americans.”

Malone wrote on his Substack Sunday morning:

I come to you with an open heart, as a physician committed to healing, bringing three simple words.  Each of which ring like bells in the soul of honest people.

Integrity.  Dignity.  Community.

Integrity is a commitment to truth, in what you say, how you live, and how you treat others.

Dignity flows from respect, for ourselves, for each other, and for the world we live in.

Community is what binds us together, to each other, and gives our lives purpose and meaning.

Saint Augustine, the doctor of the Roman Catholic Church, famously said “The truth is like a Lion. You don’t have to defend it. Let it loose. It will defend itself.”
