Spread the love

Dear Editor,

Having travelled much of the world for some 45 years, meeting, doing business with, and befriending many people of all colours/beliefs and having had quite some contact with Australians of Aboriginal and African origins (and taking a very troubled Vietnamese boat-boy into our home at times), I have no objection whatsoever to Australian citizens of African origins of any colour shade from black to white becoming a Victorian police officer. However, I vehemently object to TAFE (Aussie taxpayers of all colours/origins-funded) courses set up specifically for Australians of African origins!

To the best of my knowledge, we have never done this before for any ethnic group! And if we need to do so, then such people (of any colour or ethnic grouping) should not be admitted to Australia!

Yours,

Howard Hutchins
