(Oct. 11, 2021) — On October 7, Dr. Pierre Kory of the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC) claimed on Twitter: “Between 100-200 United States Congress Members (plus many of their staffers & family members) with COVID.. were treated by a colleague over the past 15 months with ivermectin & the I-MASK+ protocol at http://flccc.net. None have gone to hospital. Just sayin'”.
Ivermectin’s discovery in the 1970s was “produced by an unprecedented partnership between the Private Sector pharmaceutical multinational Merck & Co. Inc., and the Public Sector Kitasato Institute in Tokyo” and awarded the 2015 Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine. However, of late the drug been demonized by the media and the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) as a “horse dewormer” which has not been officially approved to treat COVID-19, similar to the treatment hydroxychloroquine received last year after President Trump touted it.
Early on Monday, America’s Frontline Doctors (AFLDS) founder Dr. Simone Gold affirmed Kory’s account. “I can confirm this is true,” she wrote. “A number of elected officials have reached out to me over the last year and requested this treatment.”
According to multiple sources, some hospitalized patients have been denied ivermectin, with some family members reverting to the courts to obtain the requested medicine for their loved ones. Some patients have died.
On October 11, USA Today reported:
New York state is on the frontline of a national legal battle over the use of an anti-parasitic drug, ivermectin, to treat COVID-19 patients, despite it lacking federal approval for treating the respiratory disease.
A September 16, 2021 article titled, “A Lifeline from Buenos Aires” by Michael Capuzzo relates that Hector and Mirta Carvallo, both physicians in Argentina, discovered that ivermectin might be effective in treating COVID-19. Capuzzo wrote:
He and Mirta had prescribed it countless times for dermatologic ailments like scabies and rosacea, and he calls it “one of the safest medicines I’ve ever used.” Acclaimed as one of the most important medicines of the 20th century, ivermectin won its discoverers the Nobel Prize in 2015.
Within weeks—long before the Australians even reported their findings—Carvallo and a colleague would conduct the first human trials of ivermectin for prevention in the fight against Covid.
“I am not ashamed to say I cried when we got the results,” Carvallo recalls in a recent Zoom interview.
Alas, months later, “I cried again,” Carvallo says. That’s when medical authorities in Argentina—and soon others around the world—began their ongoing effort to suppress public knowledge of ivermectin’s efficacy and safety, and to question Carvallo’s results and attack his reputation.
It’s a story the world, and history, needs to know.
Last year, Gold’s website, live broadcast from the U.S. Supreme Court, and Twitter feed were censored for her group’s promotion of hydroxychloroquine and freedom from lockdowns. Gold’s organization has since filed several lawsuits challenging COVID-19 vaccine mandates.
Last week, Kory tweeted that he expected Twitter to close his account as a result of his views on treating coronavirus. As of this writing, his account remains live.
