(Sep. 10, 2021) — An email received Friday morning announces a commemorative video produced by the Australian American Association (Victoria) which will go “live” Saturday at 8:46 a.m. Australia time. At 8:46 a.m. EDT, the first of the Twin Towers fell in New York City from a terrorist attack two decades ago.
In the announcement Sam CJ Muscat, JP, President of the association, wrote, “Further to my last email on 5 September regarding the disappointing cancellation of our September 11 Commemoration at St Paul’s Cathedral, it is with great pride that I announce our online experience (video) for the 20th Anniversary of September 11 – honouring both our own Victorian Emergency Services and the Australian Defence Force personnel…Together, ‘We Will Remember and We Will Never Forget’ this 20th Anniversary of September 11 and honour our Victorian Emergency Services and Defence Force personnel.”
