(Jul. 13, 2021) — On Tuesday morning, Donald Trump’s political organization “Save America” spokeswoman Liz Harrington tweeted a video of her Monday-evening appearance on OAN‘s “The Real Story” with host Natalie Harp in which Harrington termed the Biden administration “illegitimate.”

The discussion began with Harp’s monologue during which she recounted a recent statement made by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) pledging to “stop the worst” of the Biden agenda if he were to regain the Majority Leader position after the 2022 midterm elections.

“Just on Thursday, Mitch McConnell said his path back into the majority is simple, saying, ‘If I become the majority leader again, it’s not for stopping everything; it’s for stopping the worst,'” Harp quoted McConnell’s words, which also appeared on a placard in back of her. “‘It’s for stopping things that fundamentally push the country into a direction that at least my party feels is not a good idea for the country.’ But you know what?” Harp continued. “You failed there, Mitch McConnell, as did every other Republican who claims moral supremacy, because you failed to stop the worst. You failed to stop the very thing that is fundamentally destroying our country, really the only thing that matters: Democrats usurping our right to free and safe elections. You know, Democrats like to say, ‘Elections have consequences,’ but so do crimes, and the consequences of the crime of the century are what we’re living through now, and what we still have yet to: record violence, a broken border, inflation, rising gas prices, energy dependence, unemployment, and so much more. So as much as Republicans say they want to stop all this, saying it is futile, because they could have stopped it in November, and as President Trump has said, he would be stopping all this, but they didn’t. They prefer to try to stop him and our movement, standing on the sidelines, and yes, even cheering on the other team…”

Harp concluded her opening by saying that “haters on both sides of the aisle” will soon discover that “nothing’s stopping the movement that will save America.”

Introducing Harrington, Harp said that the “Republican establishment” is “just as bad if not worse than the Democrats,” to which Harrington responded, “What could be worse than allowing American votes to be stolen, to allow an illegitimate person to be sitting in the White House destroying our country? It is the worst thing imaginable, and they did nothing about it, and in fact, they aided the Democrats in stealing the election and rigging it beyond comprehension…”

Harrington then invoked a “letter” Trump said he was given by a former U.S. attorney in Pennsylvania, William M. McSwain, claiming that then-Attorney General William P. Barr instructed him not to investigate claims of election fraud.

“On Election Day and afterwards, our Office received various allegations of voter fraud and election irregularities,” McSwain wrote to Trump in a letter dated July 9, 2021. “As part of my responsibilities as U.S. Attorney, I wanted to be transparent with the public and, of course, investigate fully any allegations. Attorney General Barr, however, instructed me not to make any public statements or put out any press releases regarding possible election irregularities. I was also given a directive to pass along serious allegations to the State Attorney General for investigation — the same State Attorney General who had already declared you could not win.”

Page 2 of the letter informed Trump that McSwain disagreed with Barr’s directive but that as a former Marine officer, he observed the order. Additionally, McSwain wrote, he will seek to run as a Republican for Pennsylvania governor in 2022 to unseat Gov. Tom Wolf (D). “I would be honored to have your support,” McSwain added.

“…Not only did Bill Barr say, ‘Don’t make any statements about this; don’t bring it to the public’s attention, all of this voter fraud in Philadelphia; give it to the Democrat attorney general, who pronounced before the election in Pennsylvania that ‘there’s no way President Trump could win.’ Well, so that biased person was then put in charge of all the real, legitimate allegations, the breaking of law, the stuffing the ballot box, the counting the ballots after the election, the using mail-ins to rig it in favor of Joe Biden — those were unconstitutional moves, violations of our free and fair elections, and they did nothing about it, and in fact, worked with the Democrats to rubber-stamp this fraud.”

Harrington then agreed with Harp that “our movement is not going anywhere; it’s the biggest movement in American history, and in fact, it’s just getting started.”

How about what was done by the Democrat’s to get Barack Obama elected twice. Those two elections were stolen with a fake birth certificate. The Republicans knew, or should have known, what was going on and the cowards chose to “see no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil.”

The corruption is beyond redemption. It is over folks. The dark side is in charge. We are like the Children of Israel. Due to our iniquities, God has turned his back on us. Our enemies have breached the gates.

Right now there are (50) Republicans in the Senate and (48) Democrats. There are (2) “Independents” in the U.S. Senate. I have asked this question before. How is it that SCHUMER is Majority leader when there are only (48) Democrat Senators? Even IF the two Independents “caucus with the Dems” they are NOT Democrats. The party with the largest number of U.S. Senators is the REPUBLICAN Party right now!!! Republicans are NOT in the minority. There are more Republicans then there are Democrats in the US Senate.

Ties are broken by the vice president, who is also the Senate president.

51 (48 Democrats + 2 caucusing independents + vice president) is a majority of the 101 possible votes.

50 votes can’t control the agenda; 51 can.

Leave it to some trolls to never directly answer the posed question; rather, steer the discussion in a deflected radial.

The question was answered: Schumer is the majority leader because he leads the caucus that can obtain a majority of the votes in the Senate: the 50 votes of the Democratic Caucus of the United States Senate, and 1 from the vice president (who can vote to break ties).

And, yes, the two independent senators are members of the Democratic caucus: https://www.democrats.senate.gov/about-senate-dems/our-caucus

The Senate Republican Conference, in turn, has only 50 votes, which is a minority of the 101 possible votes.

He explained the situation quite well. There are two groups of 50, one made up of 50 Rs and the other made up of 48 Ds + 2 Is who caucus with the Ds. The VP (who is a D) breaks ties, so the D leader gets to be the majority leader because 51 voted for that and only 50 for the R leader.

If that doesn’t explain it to your satisfaction, contact your senator and ask for a copy of the senate rules.

Because the corporation called THE US GOVERNMENT does everything illegal, I fully expected the responses from troll#1 and troll#2, based on the fact that the responses from troll#1 and troll#2 reflect the actions of this illegitimate US GOVERNMENT in-play since the US Constitution was overturned in 1871.

Extract from: http://wetheonepeople.com/act-of-1871-formed-the-corporation-called-the-united-states/

1871, February 21: Congress Passes an Act to Provide a Government for the District of Columbia, also known as the Act of 1871. With no constitutional authority to do so, Congress creates a separate form of government for the District of Columbia, a ten mile square parcel of land (see, Acts of the Forty-first Congress,” Section 34, Session III, chapters 61 and 62). The act — passed when the country was weakened and financially depleted in the aftermath of the Civil War — was a strategic move by foreign interests (international bankers) who were intent upon gaining a stranglehold on the coffers and neck of America. Congress cut a deal with the international bankers (specifically Rothschilds of London) to incur a DEBT to said bankers. Because the bankers were not about to lend money to a floundering nation without serious stipulations, they devised a way to get their foot in the door of the United States.
The Act of 1871 formed a corporation called THE UNITED STATES. The corporation, OWNED by foreign interests, moved in and shoved the original Constitution into a dustbin. With the Act of 1871, the organic Constitution was defaced — in effect vandalized and sabotage — when the title was capitalized and the word “for” was changed to “of” in the title.
THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is the constitution of
the incorporated UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. It operates in an economic capacity and has been used to fool the People into thinking it governs the Republic. It does is not! Capitalization is NOT insignificant when one is referring to a legal document. This seemingly “minor” alteration has had a major impact on every subsequent generation of Americans. What Congress did by passing the Act of 1871 was create an entirely new document, a constitution for the government of the District of Columbia, an INCORPORATED government. This newly altered Constitution was not intended to benefit the Republic. It benefits only the corporation of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and operates entirely outside the original (organic) Constitution.

None of that is accurate. And it has nothing to do with how the Senate chooses its leaders.

Didn’t each party pick their leaders, they were tied with 50 votes apiece and when VP Harris take office Schumer became the leader?

Because Senators Sanders and King caucus with the Democrats, they voted for Schumer.
