(Jun. 2, 2021) — A tweet from Republican strategist Amy Tarkanian on Wednesday reported that adviser to Donald J. Trump Jason Miller confirmed that the “Desk” section of Trump’s political website, donaldjtrump.com, was “removed and will not be returning.”

The Post & Email reported Tuesday night that the section no longer appeared on the website.

“‘The Desk of Donald J. Trump’ section of President Trump’s website has been removed and will not be returning per @JasonMillerinDC. Perhaps this is a precursor to him joining another social media platform?” Tarkanian wrote on Wednesday morning.

In response, Miller tweeted, “Yes, actually, it is. Stay tuned!”

Miller had said earlier this year that Trump would be launching a new social-media platform which many in the “media” believed “Desk” represented when it emerged as a new section at donaldjtrump.com approximately four weeks ago. Miller clarified at the time that while “Desk” was a new tool the 45th president would use to communicate with his supporters, it was not a social-media “platform” per se.
