Dear Editor,
Federal Labor’s Bill “Shifty” Shorten (from Victoria) constantly attempts to deflect attention away from Victorian Labor’s Daniels/Merlino disastrous – (803 deaths!) – COVID-19 handling by throwing muck at Scott Morrison’s Federal Coalition Government’s aged-care handling!
Let’s not forget – done like a dinner! – Bill Shorten’s 2019 election attacks on the elderly, with his proposed treatment of some 1,000,000 thrifty, self-sacrificing – in the national interest – older Australians (including hundreds of thousands of pensioners)! With Shorten’s proposed penalizing of them taxation-wise (after, no doubt, so many of them have invested in Labor/Greens’ recommended so-called “energy-saving technologies!”) can only be likened to Shorten’s proposed “get-the-oldies”-type razor-gang, visiting Old Mother Hubbard with but three crusts in her cupboard.
With Shorten’s mob scoffing down two of the old lady’s crusts in broad daylight, then, well after midnight, when the dear old soul’s sound asleep, he sends in his “If you don’t like it vote against us (Labor)” taunting of oldies, financial hatchet-man (former Labor Shadow Treasurer) Chris Bowen to nick-off with the dear old – gone-to-bed-hungry! – lady’s third and final crust!
And just look at the huge increases in oldies’ heating (which many near-freezing-to-death oldies now going without) and cooling energy costs over the past 15 years or so, due to Bill Shorten’s, Labor’s (and their Greens bedfellows’) MmGW Mania influencing shutdown of Australia’s coal-fired energy sources (while Red China, India and others power ahead with cost-effective, reliable and soon-to-be hi-tech leaner and greener coal-fired energy)!
You can be sure, Bill Shorten will grow old as warm as toast (at the expense of Victoria’s oldies braving Melbourne’s cruel winters)!
