“Diabolical” Daniel Andrews is to win some strong leadership-type award?
Be buggered, because…on Valentine’s Day 2021, under yet another Andrews Labor Government Covid-19 lockdown went into effect that not only broke the hearts of so many Victorian small-to-medium private-sector business owners (employing some 50% of Victoria’s workforce) but also broke their backs financially; once and for all on top of Labor’s Daniel Andrews and his ministers’ earlier (and continued) abrogation of duty of care of 6.5 million Australians’ welfare during Covid-19!
So, after Valentine’s Day 2021, are the majority of Victorians still backing Daniel Andrews & Co after 820 Victorian lives (with long-stopped beating hearts) and Victorian businesses (and thus employment) were destroyed so ineptly, and corruptly, because of how Andrews handled the Covid-19 lockdown?
Fact: like Andrews himself, the vast majority of Andrews approvers are not in the majority of Victoria’s wealth-producers/sustainers, being put out of business by public-purse-employed Daniel Andrews’s ineptness! Andrews (and the likes of Lisa Neville) is not among Victoria’s financially ruined — broken-hearted — wealth producers, losing their “put-up-as-collateral” homes and life’s works – the likes of small-to-medium and large privately-owned business employing some 50% of Victoria’s workforce!
We are “at war” with Covid-19, and in every war to be won there are casualties! And if the likes of those in our mid-seventies such as my wife and me must be casualties, so be it!
But, bet your life the likes of Daniel Andrews and his many supporters, who are well-heeled and directly or indirectly living off the taxpayer, won’t be casualties!
Yes lives, are important; however, the healthy life of Australia’s economy (thus Australia’s survival in this increasingly hostile world) is, in the long run, far, far more important!
Reality: Australia’s very long-term existence is directly dependent upon private business owners’ (and not the likes of “Diabolical” Daniel Andrews’) strongly beating hearts!
