Of Pinstripe Suits and Pinafores

(Feb. 10, 2021) — If the kabuki impeachment trial taking place in the U.S. Senate proves nothing else, it demonstrates that Democrats in the year 2021 A.D. are beyond mendacious. They are psychotic. They are narcissistic ghouls in pinstripe suits and pinafores. They are political hyenas intent not only upon assassinating the political future of Donald J. Trump, but which won’t be satiated until they have also finished mutilating his corpse. “Disgusting” does not come close to describing their primal behavior.

These, Virginia, are the insects that now control the future – such as may remain – of the Republic.  Were he alive, Benjamin Franklin would be weeping.

And now we learn that, on a vote of 56-44, with 6 GOP RINOs voting with the Democrats, the “greatest deliberative body in the world” has decided, ipse dixit (“it is so because I say it is so”), that the unfolding farce is “constitutional” and that the clown-show will continue.

These jackals have apparently forgotten (assuming they ever knew) about the separation of powers confirmed through the Constitution’s “checks and balances” method of reposing identified governing powers in three distinct and separate branches of the government.  Moreover, they have also forgotten – or deliberately chosen to ignore – the Supreme Court’s 1803 decision in Marbury v. Madison, 5 U.S. 1 (1803), cementing in place the doctrine that the Supreme Court alone is the final arbiter and interpreter of the Constitution and whether actions taken by the other branches may be “unconstitutional.”

Not only is the Senate vote to continue with its “deliberative” charade itself unconstitutional, it amounts to an invasion of the exclusive power of the Supreme Court to interpret and adjudicate “constitutional” questions.  As such, it also constitutes a monumental usurpation of power and jurisdiction foreign to the foundational principles of the Republic. 

Undaunted, the Democrats – hyper-intoxicated by their past successful usurpations by Barack Hussein Obama, Jr., Kamala Devi Harris and, of course, the current Goofball-in-Chief – plow forward in the quest to suppress the future votes of scores of millions of Americans.  Apparently that species of “voter suppression” – when Donald J. Trump is involved – is acceptable to these hypocrites.

The suppression of those votes is to be accomplished by removing Donald J. Trump from the field of eligible candidates for president in 2024.  If he can be declared ineligible as a consequence of being convicted on the impeachment and simultaneously disqualified from future federal office, millions of Americans will have been denied the potential to vote again for him.  This, faithful P&E readers, is why the hyenas – and their RINO accomplices – persist in the attempted mutilation of his corpse.

One problem: not only is he not a “corpse,” it appears that he is gaining even more support as the Democrats’ efforts to preclude him from even running in 2024 continue.  Donald J. Trump may – or may not – decide to run again for the presidency in 2024.  Many hope fervently that he will do so, and the Democrats and their apparatchiks on the Left are desperately seeking to torpedo any such possibility.

The House bill of impeachment and the Senate Star Chamber exercise are the petulant tantrums of a political party now dedicated to the destruction of the Republic as we have known it and the disqualification of the one person who has proven an ability to stop that destruction.

The bottom line here is that the kabuki charade taking place in the Senate will not…, repeat not…, culminate in either a conviction or a disqualification.  The only two remaining questions are (1) whether there will be a recognizable Republic still in existence in 2024 and (2) whether Donald J. Trump will still possess the love of country to endure the vomit that will await him from the media, the tech oligarchs, the RINO’s, the Deep State and a host of “Trump Derangement Syndrome” intellectual invalids during a second Trump term as president.
