(Dec. 15, 2020) — The “Stop the Steal” organization will hold a 1:00 p.m. ET “major press conference” Tuesday, it announced on its website.
The group has been holding rallies across the country since the November 3 election, which many Americans believe was “stolen” from Trump for Democrat Joe Biden.
On Monday, the Electoral College cast its votes in capital cities across the nation in favor of Biden, but with competing electors from seven states, in addition to those Trump was acknowledged as having won, casting votes for Trump and sending certificates in to the archivist, as required.
The presser will include the Trump electors, the announcement said.
The event will be livestreamed by RSBN. As of 1:10, livestreaming has started.
Below the video, YouTube now displays the message, “The Electoral College has confirmed Joe Biden as president-elect. States certify election results after ensuring ballots are properly counted and correcting irregularities and errors,” which flies in the face of a myriad of eyewitness accounts provided to Trump’s personal attorney and head of his campaign legal team, Rudy Giuliani over the last six weeks.
A report stemming from a forensic analysis of Dominion voting machines in Antrim County, MI states that the error rate of 68.05 led the analyst, Russell James Ramsland, to conclude that neither the county’s nor the state’s election results should have been certified.
Also on Monday, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer dispatched the state police to stop would-be Republican electors from entering the capital to cast their votes for Trump.
In Georgia, Secretary of State Brad Raffensberger has now instructed Cobb County elections officials to scrutinize signatures on absentee ballot envelopes dating back to the state’s primaries, a move neither Raffensberger nor Gov. Brian Kemp called for before, during, or after the election, when two state recounts were conducted.
“Raffensperger ordered the audit in response to an allegation that the county failed to adequately match signatures. A separate statewide signature audit study could come later this year,” the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported on Monday.
As the presser began late, at about 1:40 p.m., the White House press conference was broadcast. Upon taking the podium, STS founder Ali Alexander said the presser was “pre-empted” by a communication with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who on Monday recognized Biden as the “president-elect.”
“We must exhaust all options,” Alexander said, urging Americans to call on their state and federal legislators to engage over the issue of election integrity.
