“NOT ABOUT EQUAL RIGHTS”

The 13th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution (Library of Congress)

(Aug. 12, 2020) —[Editor’s Note:  See the previous installments of this series here.]

Our 13th Amendment abolished slavery in America in 1865.

Sharia: Muslims are encouraged to emulate Muhammad, the “eternal perfect man” who captured slaves in battle; had sex with them and instructed his men to do so.

Slavery is deeply embedded in Islamic law and tradition. Basic human rights are ignored. Only non-Muslims can be slaves.

Quran (33:50) – “O Prophet! We have made lawful to thee thy wives to whom thou hast paid their dowers; and those (slaves) whom thy right hand possesses out of the prisoners of war whom Allah has assigned to thee.”

Our 14th Amendment: Right to equal protection and due process of law.

Sharia: Jews, Christians and non-Muslims are not equal to Muslims. Females, apostates, homosexuals and “blasphemers” are all unequal to straight Muslim men.

Muslim women cannot marry outside the faith – some pay with their lives for doing so. Women cannot vote in Saudi Arabia or the United Arab Emirates.

Quran (2:223) – “Your wives are as a tilth unto you; so approach your tilth when or how ye will…” A man has dominion over his wives’ bodies as he does his land.

If a Muslim woman is raped, she must produce four male witnesses, or the case is dropped and the woman may be stoned to death as an adulteress!

Sahih Muslim (4:1039) – “Mohommed’s favorite wife Aisha said: ‘You have made us equal to dogs and asses.’

A Muslim cleric says: “The specific task of women in this society is to marry and bear children. They will be discouraged from entering legislative, judicial, or whatever careers which may require decision-making, as women lack the intellectual ability and discerning judgment required for these careers.”

Clearly, Islam is not about equal rights.
