BOLT BOLTED IT IN ON GRETA!

Dear Editor,

So the Herald Sun‘s intrepid Andrew Bolt’s been rebuked by the Australian Press Council (“Press Council Adjudication,” HS, 4/6) for truthfully reporting on junior Man-made Global Warming Svengali, 17-year-old Greta Thunberg? Well, now: are APC members related to the ruling body members of Canada’s University of Victoria who fired – despite her 15-year unblemished record! – Assist. Prof. Susan Crockford, for truthfully (via scientific research) stating that polar bear populations were increasing? So I say, Bravo for Viking, King Erik the Red’s love of Greenland-brewed, beer! And as a bloke who“thinks in pictures,” can’t do mental arithmetic (yet can accurately approximate), and gets compass points mixed up at times, I say a very big “Bravo” for Andrew Bolt, who really bolted it in “Time to doubt Greta’s dogma” Melb. HS, 1/8/19! [Editor’s Note:  The Post & Email was unable to locate Bolt’s article, as his blog archives date back only four weeks.  Other online references did not contain the article or a link to it.  The reason could be the Herald Sun’s paywall.]

Those having a whack at Bolt appear to be suffering from “MmGW Mania” just as (if not more) severely as the unfortunately afflicted/misguided young Swede Greta Thunberg (and so many of her fawning snouts, in-the-public-trough followers)!

Greta (and the APC), there are literally many tens of thousands of scientists worldwide disputing not only the severity (or even existence) of MmGW, but also all this “end-of-the-world”-type nonsense spouted by the likes of you!

Greta, for you a Nordic-neighbour fact: scientists from  Denmark’s National Museum of Copenhagen (as published in ScienceNordic, February 2012) have confirmed that Viking King Erik the Red, some 1,000 years ago, grew barley (to of course brew beer!) in Greenland when that part of the world was even warmer, and there was even less ice and snow than in Greenland  today! And dear Greta, the UN’s IPCC is now telling the world that farming is contributing to modern-day Greenland’s melting ice losses, despite ScienceNordic’s 3/2/2012 published evidence that your Viking forebear, beer-loving Erik the Red, grew barley in Greenland at least 1,000 years ago! Why didn’t the world end then, Greta?

And Greta, American and Scandinavian researchers, independently of each other, are reporting (via scientific research like Prof. Susan Crockford’s) that polar bear populationshave exploded by up to 30% over the past 20 years or so!

Finally, Greta, in the 1970s, many scientists worldwide were all gloom and doom over an impending new ice age and worldwide shortages of food!

So for Andrew Bolt, a big “Bravo!” because, Greta (and the APC), it just was not so!

Yours,

Howard Hutchins

I have yet to see the mmgw clowns explain how the big and little ice ages came and went thousands of years ago, when the earth’s population was a mere scant number and “fossil fuels” were centuries away from being discovered much less used. The left bounced between global cooling and warming until they got laughed into oblivion and then just changed their wording thing they would look less foolish but it didn’t stop their foolishness. I am all for conservation, using energy as wisely and as efficiently as possible but the doom and gloom of the left has been proven a “chicken little” tactic of fear mongering lies. If any of the leftist morons are out there please answer my question about the ice ages.
